Please, if you have elderly relatives here, ask questions if they are deteriorating and insist on speaking with a doctor. My dear Mum died alone from undiagnosed/untreated sepsis (I was told I could not speak to a doctor until the Monday, she died on the Sunday but nobody knows what time as she was discovered "not breathing") . At least twice she deteriorated and nobody contacted me as her only next of kin. Just shocking and truly frightening and I hope to goodness I never have to be treated at this Hospital.

Great hospital and has been for years. My father passed away in the early 1990's and the staff were great. I have just had medical treatment and I am currently recovering in bed. The whole process was smooth and friendly, even the parking, which is the only negative point was OK. Overall happy with my visit, hope it's many years before my next one.

I have just spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to sort out a cancelled operation and got absolutely nowhere, if we're ever asked to clap for our wonderful NHS service again I won't be joining.

I found the staff very helpful.
The food was OK and the bed comfortable and most importantly they sorted the problem out.
Thanks very much Llandough hospital Staff..🙂👍👍👍👍👍

The cafe serves lovely sourdough bacon rolls with a decent large cappuccino. Luckily visiting the hospital purely on a visitor basis.

Poor facilities with Reception shut early afternoon, no wheel chairs available and no-one to ask. Clinical staff were great once overcame all the barriers to entry the hospital could create. Such a contrast to our visit to the Heath earlier this week, who had thought about the patient journey & customer/patient support. Strange as both operated by the same Trust, but such any attitude of indifference at Llandough, and I say this having previously worked managing hospital support services at another Trust.

Went to have surgery for the first time in my life last week and the staff were all very understanding and patient with me. A nurse called Clare was especially good as she took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I was taken care of every step of the way. Very professional staff. Very clear instructions. Everything was sorted for me- pain meds, sick note, recovery instructions etc. So impressed and happy to have had my surgery at such a brilliant hospital. Thank you all.
