Took my adult Son to the Minor Injuries Unit today, Thursday 14th July.
We are visiting Bluestone and this was the nearest hospital.
He had an accident, has a small fracture in one finger and a large tear in his finger that required stitches.
What a good experience it was. The staff were absolutely delightful, reception staff and the Nurse Practitioners who looked after him and treated his finger with an X Ray and stitches,
He was a patient there for a total of one hour only.
Such a really refreshing change to be treated by an efficient NHS Service by dedicated staff who were pleasant and caring.
MANY THANKS WITHYBUSH HOSPITAL 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

To little to late. My father needed to be transferred to Glangwili hospital for an emergency chest drain as we were told there was no one there to do this. He needed to be blue lighted after being breathless and in pain for six days. It took the ambulance over seven hour to arrive at Withybush to transport him. After arriving at Glangwili hospital there was not doctor on call to do the chest drain until the next morning. By the time the drain went in we were told that he was severely ill and may not make it. He was in so much pain it was heart breaking to see. He died eight days later after treatment was stopped. To little to late. My Dad was let down and may have survived if he had treatment sooner

Attended with daughter with heel injury after fall from height. Amazing care- very prompt, staff were lovely and very professional. Nurse practitioner in Minor Injuries unit could not have been more helpful, and singing radiographer was lovely too. Very impressive; thank you!

My son had a nasty fall whilst visiting family resulting in the breaking of 5+ bones in lower arm requiring surgery to insert plates etc. we cannot fault his care from triage to discharge via A&E, theatre and high dependency unit. The staff he/we encountered were superb, extremely professional and so friendly. Thank you to all involved in his care.

Took ill on holiday during July 22. Visited tenby walk in 9am in the morning. Advised surgery and referred to Withybush A&E. 7pm in surgery and can't thank them enough. I had never had surgery before and i couldn't have felt more comfortable in their hands. From the initial consultation to the discharge on wards. I can't fault their service..A*..and more. Thank you

Traveled 1 and a half to Withybush hospital for a minor operation only to be told that it was cancelled.
Because they didn't have any beds, to say I was peed off is an understatement. And I wasn't the only one on that day which had there operations cancelled. It wasn't till I was leaving the main entrance of Withybush hospital that I had a phone call to say that my operation had been cancelled.

I am always amazed at how fantastic our NHS is. The staff all look tired, but greet you with a smile and get you seen as soon as possible. ❤️
