Easy to park. Easy disabled access. Very clean hospital with good toilets. Cafe serves good coffee and meals at proper times. Outside those times sandwiches are available. Able to sit outside from the cafe, on a nice day. Lovely view. Quiet and calm location.

Had to go to Ysbyty Alltwen NHS hospital today while I was on holiday. The receptionist was polite and pointed me in the right direction to the minor injury ward. I had a 5 minute wait to be seen. The nurse on duty called Bethan was really professional as was the student nurse (didn't get her name) in the way they asked the questions to find out what my problem was..had to do a couple of samples but was very quick to diagnose a water infection. Was given the medication and sent on my way. Less than 30 minutes in there. Fantastic can now get on with my holiday..would recomend this place without a doubt. The hospital was very clean. And an added bonus was it is free to park..

Fell and injured my knee on Saturday afternoon. Rolled up in agony in announced. There is one guy there doing reception, triage and nursing care. His name was Chris and he deserves 10 stars for his help and support. He advised going to A&E straight away for an urgent scan. Went to Wrexham A&E, waited for 5 hours and then only an xray was available. Urgent MRI in three weeks. From 10 stars to zero stars.

I managed to dislocate a finger on Snowdon. The care I received here was excellent. My finger was bent badly out of shape. A couple of days later I just have a few bruises but other than that back to normal. Thanks to all for the fantastic care.

We arrived at the hospital at 10amy informed that I hadn't broke my ankle and the report would be read in Bangor. I was impressed with the care I had. They also advised the hospital canteen as we new we wouldn't get back to the hotel in time. As we were about to ring the taxi Emma the nurse contacted me to say that I needed a boot as I had broken my ankle. Report sent from Bangor.

Had to call on them for help on Monday at 02-15 am for my husband whilst on our last night staying nearby! Due to no phone signal arrived unannounced and rang the bell and the staff let us in despite no referral from a gp. Seen by a lovely gent called Chris who checked him out and referred to Medical Dr . Importantly they listened to our situation ref having to travel home and helped us by getting appropriate medication to cover him getting back to our gp for further treatment . If we were able to I'd have let them send him to Bangor for further investigation as we got far better help and care than we'd previously had at home! So we are very grateful to them for they're help. I appreciate that overnight it was quiet but still can't fault them ! Thank you very much!

Don't bother visiting the minor injuries clinc, 4 hours of waiting on a weekday midday for no reason. People left waiting outside the door, bell never answered the first time ever had a complaint about the NHS.
