Beautiful place, small and comfortable not good if you have mobility issues.
But if you don't this is quiet peaceful and homely.
The owners are lovely and friendly and very helpful.

Lovely little cottage. Log burner for those cosy nights in. lots to do and great views, nice walks and friendly people.check out the Hand pub at Llanarmon, delicious food and good selection of drinks. Llongollen is about 20 minutes away from Glyn Ceiriog. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🐑🐮😁

This cottage is lovely as are the hosts Siwan and Clwyd. It is cosy property and consists of a well-equipped kitchen/dining room/lounge along with separate bedroom and bathroom and is split across three levels. Views are spectacular and it is only a 20 min drive from Chirk and Llangollen. It is 30 min drive from both Wrexham (plenty of supermarkets) and Oswestry which has a market every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. It is also worth noting that if you enjoy the outdoors there are a myriad or walks nearby (along with pub) and there is also a nice terrace next to your very own stream! If you're looking for a nice country getaway - look no further!

Just a lovely cottage - small and very comfortable for a couple, we can highly recommend here! Beautiful views over the Glyn Ceiriog Valley below, the sounds of the sheep in the fields below and the local Buzzards crying/circling above the cottage - sheer bliss with no cars or trucks noises at all. Very recently re-decorated to a high order, it has dishwasher, washing machine, smart TV, excellent wi-fi - plenty of chairs and tables (plus BBQ) on the lovely patio. Large comfy bed (with TV in the bedroom too). Everything that you would want for a hill side Welsh Cottage holiday.
On 3 levels with steepish/short steps so those with mobility issues be aware.
The cottage is located up a fairly narrow, lumpy bumpy and quite steep lane and to get up the steep drive, you will need to turn your car around and be okay in reversing up the narrow lane a short distance. At first, it feels tricky but after a few days of practice, you soon start to be more confident and it shouldn't put you off staying here at all. But like all Welsh country lanes, they are quite steep and narrow with few passing places so be aware if you have a large SUV/car.
The owners Mr and Mrs Davies are wonderful and so friendly as are their Son and Daughter.
We highly recommend here without hesitation and we certainly will look to return in the future! Wonderful!
