Thank you for the most wonderful holiday ay Ysgubor Helyg. The barn conversion was wonderful. Really characterful but also with all mod cons. All four of us were very comfortable. Rob and Sarah were excellent hosts and any issues were sorted immediately. The snooker room was a surprise addition. If you want an off the beaten track holiday then this is definitely the place to go. Great access to many of the best parts of Wales although some of the local lanes are not for the faint hearted. Thank you so much for a superb holiday. We will be back!

Brilliant holiday for our honey-versary.
Loved staying at this cottage with all its character. Its a brilliant barn conversion and would love to see the before and during pictures or the renovation as you can tell a lot of time and effort has been put into everything.

Well maintained and spotless (just the reassurance you need during Covid 19 scary times).

As the previous post suggests, the country lanes to get out and about can be a little difficult to drive and I always made sure we were back before dark.
Great place to get out and about either from the cottage over the fields or to drive to some nice places.
Beautiful scenery in this part of the country and definitely worth a visit.

Lovely hosts, welcoming but definitely not overbearing so don't let the proximity of the owners put you off booking this hidden gem. Much bigger than the pictures suggests.

What a lovely cottage to stay in! The photos on the cottages website did not do it justice. Lovely setup, quirky (the door way to living room and downstairs bedrooms is all of about 4ft high so lots of ducking!
No phone signal at all and WiFi is temperamental... This is mid-Wales and expected.
Only met the owners briefly at the start but they were friendly and very responsive and helpful on WhatsApp. If it hadn't rained non-stop we would have probably seen them more, but, again, it's Wales! Rain is part of the fun!
We enjoyed playing pool and darts in the games room / barn (bit cold in here in Feb, but nothing a coat doesn't fix!)
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to any of my friends and would happily go back
