What an amazing few days away at Gadlas Park Windsor Lodge. Can’t believe we have only just found this little paradise. It was so peaceful and tranquil perfect place to forget about everything and relax. Our cabin was right by the fishing lake which have carp and home to lots of ducks and moorhens. You can either just enjoy the peace and quiet or venture out to nearby towns. We could not be bothered. Our lodge was perfect bed was comfy we also had dressing gowns slippers and mini toiletries to add a bit of luxury. Also a love ladder touch a bottle of Prosecco chocolates and essential items tea coffee milk jam. Just couldn’t fault it. Owners were very pleasant and on hand to chat. The only problem we had was we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning. Fantastic find

What an amazing find. So peaceful and tranquil. This is exactly what we needed. To switch off from a busy life at home. The lodge had everything we needed and more with little touches of dressing gowns, slippers, shower gel minis. Also to our surprise a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates and some essential supplies milk tea coffee and a couple of pods for dolce gusto. If you want to switch off and re energise this is the place for you. Thankyou for such a perfect time. Wished we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed in the Queen's lodge last month, we had such a fantastic time. We have booked for Christmas. Spoke briefly to the owner, who recommended some nice places to eat which was the Boat in Erbistock.

Stayed in the Windsor Lodge at Gadlas Park. Had the most enjoyable, relaxing 3 night stay. My husband loved carp fishing and caught 3 Carp. Will definitely be back and would recommend. Thanks

AVOID Gadlas park We have been twice now to this lodge park. The first time was decent, however second time going there we were severely disappointed. First off when arriving there the walls had dead spiders and flys all over the place. Some looking like they’d been there months. The sofa smelt like urine and fish. There was a thick layer of dust and cobwebs all over the place. Some of it once again looking like months worth. It was absolutely filthy. I have photos included as proof. We had booked to go again in October however we cancelled it due to the state of the place. Andrew the owner couldn’t have been more rude. Seems like all he cares about is the money he gets off you. They charged us a significant amount to cancel although they already charged us a deposit before booking and refused to refund us it back. We said we don’t want to stay again in an email only then he said he’d offer us a £50 off our next stay. Which due to the filth in the place we wouldn’t want to do. I’m glad I cancelled the booking now as I wouldn’t want to support this guy any further. Once again avoid this place. For the price there are better and cleaner lodges.

TERRIBLE!! 0 out of 5 stars! Stayed here once before and had a third booking that we cancelled due to the following. The lodge was filthy in areas: - squashed bugs/spider on bedroom walls and window next to sofa - thick dusty cob webs in a couple of corners with spiders - the artificial plants had a thick layer of dust over them - the table had crumbs on when arriving and there’s a hole in the table that was full of old crumbs - kitchen chair cushions are very grubby and stained - very dusty fan extractor in bathroom - The sofa had a strong fusty/fishy smell waft out when sitting on it - Bedding had a couple of marks on over the sheet and duvet cover I’d have thought since covid the cleanliness would be more of a priority due to how many people stay in these lodges - clearly not. I complained via email to try to resolve this rather than leaving a bad review but I find their customer service to be lacking of a professional touch and they don’t seem to care that much. Won’t be staying here again ever! I have evidence of all the filth in the lodge and conversations but won’t let me add them to this review. UPDATE - they are no longer replying to my emails. Rude, ignorant customer service, they don’t want to except they didn’t have the lodge cleaned to a high standard. We paid over £500 for the stay and they won’t refund any despite all the photographic evidence I have sent. Not acceptable. I’ve stayed in cheaper and cleaner lodges elsewhere.

Beautiful peaceful location, lodges are absolutely stunning and immaculately cleaned , really lovely welcome pack Loads of local attractions and places to visit . Perfect holiday absolutely beautiful I would recommend 100% .

Liked: The lodge was exactly the same as the photos. Amazing place, spotlessly clean. Went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous, even added balloons, banners, chocolates and wine for my birthday
