My initial query was more of a fact finding mission and i set up a visit to test drive a car. I picked Norton Way over my slightly more local Honda dealer mainly on the basis of previous good feedback i had read (and the fact that i can look at bikes and cars at the same time!!). My dealer visit went very well with Josh looking after me, listening to my stories(!) and answering any questions i had.
All of their cars are well presented but i decided that i wanted a new car this time round and an appropriate deal was struck quickly and with little pressure from the sales team. They even took my trade in with a decent offer despite it being a completely different brand and of significant value.
Hand over day was made pretty special with the new car in the showroom, covered to allow the full reveal. Also, they are always really helpful whenever i have questions on the car. Service time is a long way away but i look forward to having to visit them again. I'm really pleased with the service i received and would certainly recommend them to others. Oooh, maybe a new bike next.......
I have just had my bike serviced with an MOT on the 8th June - during the service the Tech found 2 faults - parking brake and broken exhaust bracket - I authorised the £256 additional cost immediately when called the bike was returned on the 9th June.
I found on the documents returned with the bike that they failed the bikes MOT for the 2 faults found DURING the service as mentioned on the SERVCE inspection sheet suppled to me and in the attached video. One defined as Dangerous and the other a major defect!!
This history is available to see for anyone who is going to buy my bike when I decide to sell it - not what I wanted on there.
If I had put the bike in for a service on the 8th June and they rectified the faults and went back on the 9th June I would not have this blot on my MOT history.
Not the best NWH and cheers Daniel the service manager for leaving me a voicemail and NOT calling back as you stated you would and hence why I didn’t ring but hey ho.
Anyway, the moral of this review is don’t get a service and MOT done here on the same day and for me, it was nice doing business NWH, I shall take my bike elsewhere for them to MOT and Service as I always trusted the Honda brand to carry out my servicing but not anymore...
