Had a fantastic weekend at Bessingham Manor. Everything was set up perfectly for my guests. It was clean, well furnished, comfy beds and every amenity we could have asked for.

I hosted a murder mystery here and it was a fantastic location with lots of communal spaces in which everyone could interact!

I recently stayed at Bessingham Manor for a large family holiday of 18 adults and 6 kids. We had an amazing time during our 1 week stay. The manor itself is stunning. Most of the rooms have been more recently done up to a very high standard. The house certainly has a wow factor and ample space.

The owner was very quick to respond to any email or phone communications whilst booking and during our visit.

We'd certainly recommend it here and would consider re-visiting in the future.

Booked the manor house for my 30th birthday celebrations. Beautiful venue for large gatherings. William (the host) was superb throughout - very responsive, helpful and made every part of organising the event as stress free as possible.

All the guests loved their stay and had nothing but good words to say.

Would highly recommend and would love to come again!

We stayed with for five days with a group of 32 people. Spacious rooms, fully equipped spacious kitchen with an extra dining area. Most rooms have en suites.
Kids loved it, the only shame was we didn't stay for longer. Have already recommended to other friends who would like book soon. Outside area is full of green space and BBQ was a dream with lovely benches. Hot tub was top of the range but would have been good if chlorine levels waa checked and refilled daily. Would love to return soon. Thanks William

We stayed in Bessingham Manor as a group of 15 adults (and one child) in December 2021. It was a fabulous house for friends and family to spend a long weekend relaxing and catching up. We loved the living area, which had plenty of room for all of us to socialize as a group! We also really appreciated the Christmas decorations being put up on the earlier side of December.

The kitchen was very well equipped to cook for a group of our size, and we loved the layout, the oven and aga combination, and the three refrigerators.

The bedrooms and en suites were all comfortable, clean, and warm (which can be a challenge when it’s 0 degrees out!). Every shower was hot, no one ran out of hot water!

The hot tub also provided a welcome reprieve from the frosty temperatures outside. The grounds would be lovely to relax in in warmer months.

Communication with the owner was easy, and return of our security deposit was extremely prompt after check out. We also really appreciated a bit of leeway with the checkout time.

We hope to return in the future! Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed here in August 2021. Large family group of 19 people to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary.
The manor is beautiful. Lovely large rooms plenty of seating and space for everyone. The kitchen was so well stocked with cups and glasses, cooking pots and pans and crockery etc. We had a fantastic stay. Lovely area but most enjoyed spending time in the house and grounds.
Cannot recommend enough - fantastic place to stay!

Located in a remote village, Bessingham Manor was the perfect getaway to celebrate my birthday in mid September with a large group of friends.

The rooms were large and spacious with its historic features lighting each of them up, with a beautifully furnished downstairs and fully equipped kitchen - plenty of room for our group of 24 and the caterers to prepare a lavish meal on one of the evenings.

The grounds are vast and well kept. We went for a charming stroll one morning towards the end of the garden in the late summer sun.

William, the owner, was very helpful and quick to guide us on the layout of the house to help prepare our plans accordingly.

He also recommended Beans Boat (seal trip located in Morston Quay) a 30 min drive away, which was a highlight of the weekend and even liaised directly with the caterers for us to help our time there go without a hitch.

Would absolutely recommend to others. It was a truly memorable weekend.
