Went for lunch on a quiet Tuesday, the bar was nice and airy with a good selection of beers on offer. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive but not too intrusive. I didn't think I'd get too excited about a chicken and bacon sandwich but it was really, really good -
served with a lovely side salad and chips. We will definitely be going back next time we are in the area or when I get a hankering for another sandwich.

Absolutely amazing stay! Rooms spacious and impeccably clean! All toiletries, tea, coffee, hot chocolate facilities in the room. And a very warm welcome from the hosts.
Varied menu for breakfast which was , by the way, included.
An inspired choice to get away from busy London! 😊
A big Thank you to everyone @Kings Head.

We cycled down for a family meal, the staff were attentive and welcoming. We were informed they were operating on a reduced menu due to staffing, however there was plenty to choose from and all generous portions and incredibly tasty. Looking forward to going back to try other items on the menu. Great selection of drinks also 👌

We stayed for one night we had been traveling down through Spain, France and around England. It was one of the nicest places we had stayed just a shame we didn’t get a chance to sample the food. Lovely touches he owners go

Hotel review: Sweet room, a bit tight, but clean and tidy. Lovely vibe to the place and nice position. Really handy for the Chunnel (20 minutes’ drive) given how expensive and terrible the closer hotels are. Fabulous breakfast! They take dogs which is a bonus. Really nice staff. Would recommend!

Lovely pub located along the high street. Google maps always helpful to find it in the dark. Lots of spacious areas to
Have a drink with friends, you can have a seat down with friends or have a quick drink without meals involved. The service was relatively smooth and quick. Prices not on the cheap side but you get what you pay for.

Came for lunch and had the Korean chicken and also the burger, food was amazing! Presented well and full of flavour! Service was top notch and very attentive. Our host Andrea had great wine knowledge and gave us recommendations that really helped to complete both our meals. Would definitely recommend and we will be back! Well done to everyone! A+

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the King's Head Wye. Our room was on the second floor up fairly steep steps. I felt sorry for the elderly couple staying on the same floor as us!! The room was clean and tidy and well kitted out with a bath and shower available. Paint was starting to peel off the wooden window frames but I only noticed this because I spent ages looking out at the view of Wye crown. Our room was more than adequate. The staff were friendly and polite. Nothing was to much trouble. We ate in the restaurant which has changed considerably since I got down on one knee and proposed to my now wife 32 years ago. The food was great although £28 for a bottle of Merlot was steep. We slept well on a memory foam mattress & went down for breakfast which was full English. It wasn't large but it beat me & I had to leave some. Everything tasted wonderful. There was so much flavour. Best breakfast for a very long while. We headed out for a walk to the "Crown" and back which was around 5 miles & ended up having a drink in a pub by the river. We had a lovely weekend in an amazing location and I thoroughly recommend a visit
