We stayed at Preston North for one night and the service was brilliant, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location just off the M6. I stayed in an accessible room which was lovely and spacious and perfect for wheelchair users. There was a shower chair in the wet room that needed to be requested but that was in my room when arrived after previously requesting it. All light switches, coat hooks etc were all lowered which was nice to see they've thought about things. The parking was free and there was plenty of disabled bays and it is dog friendly. Definitely recommend 👌

Firstly I'll start by saying this. If you plan to stay longer than two nights, I.E are on vacation or staying a while. Please go elsewhere such as the Holiday Inn which I highly recommend, located in Preston town centre next to the bus station.

I stayed here for two nights this weekend, and whilst my stay wasn't unpleasant - the room and decor were incredibly dated. The bed was clean, and fairly comfortable but the rest of the room has a yellow dinge to it from the years of usage.

The staff on reception weren't rude, but there was no enthuse or customer service there. The patrons at the Ibis Preston North are a varied bunch. I saw some incredibly wealthy people, with expensive cars - and some outright nuisances that kept running up and down the hallway outside my room. There was also a strong smell of cannabis coming from the landing.

I've stayed in a few ibis hotels, both in the UK and on the continent. And they all have this recurring theme of high price, low investment.

Excellent customer service and breakfast.
Bathroom was brilliant and the room cleaning was first class.
The hotel is just a wee bit tired and ready for some TLC.
Will definitely stay again.

Room was clean and tidy and once I figured out the heating, blissfully warm, breakfast was plentiful, location good. And not too noisy.

Very dog friendly hotel. Several dogs sitting as good as gold with their owners in the dining area. Any slight tiredness in decor made up for by lovely welcoming staff. We stayed on a freezing cold night so enjoyed our welcome drink (available to frequent Accor users) freshly made pizza and a fine breakfast. Yes it could be spruced up, choice of food could be improved - clearly a cost conscious breakfast but made tasty by a good chef.

Paper thin walls, noisy banging all night and an uncomfortable bed, which meant we didn't get any sleep. Breakfast was okay, although the staff member didn't even speak to us when we came down for breakfast. Not a great experience, glad we are only staying for one night.

COMPLETE REVIEW:

For a two star hotel I think it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Far away from most interesting things in this area. It's located in a city were there is not much going on. But the services and personnel are sweet and welcoming. Breakfast is good it doesn't have tremendous variety but has just enough variety. A number of pasteries like croissants, and similar, they have diaries like milk, yogurt, butter. Also have nutella, and other sweet stuff to put on the bread. They have the english breakfast stuff with beans, eggs, black pudding, bacon. They have slided bread, some fruits, and a few more things. You definitely will not feel hungry.

The room is cool and clean. And they clean it every day for you.

The restaurant only has one thing, pizzas, but they surely do that one thing well. I recommend it.

The Wi-Fi works well.

The bathroom is good and all things work as expected. But on my room I didn't had a poop cleaner. They also didn't have a bidet to wash your bottom. But other than that it was fine and they had bath gel and shampoo.

Tv with Hdmi and dozens of channels, if you have playstation you can probably connect and play.

Something that I liked was the floor. It was mostly a carpet and a smooth material in the bathroom that was not very cold. So you could walk barefoot all over your room without ever feeling cold on the feet.

All in all it's not luxurious, It's not a romantic hotel but it's a nice place to just stay for a couple of days if you have something to resolve on the area.

Thank you everyone
