We booked this Premier Inn as an emergency (my husband is a full-time wheelchair user and we find it difficult to find wheelchair accessible rooms.). When the Premier Inns say that a room is wheelchair accessible, they actually ARE.

The room was a good size, and this one actually had some storage space for clothes (not always the case with the Premier Inns.)

It was a little noisy (it is a big place) as we were on the ground floor, under - where I can only assume, they kept an elephant - so there was a bit of heavy footfall. Also people let their children run up and down the corridor early in the mornings!

All in all it is always a pleasure (though it should be a given in this day and age) to find a room that my husband is able to manoeuvre his wheelchair around in.

Nice hotel, very pleasant staff, the lady on the front desk in particular was friendly and very efficient.

For a Premier Inn the rooms are slightly larger than the average and there is a lift although it wasn't working on the second day of my stay.

Also it was warm during my stay so I had to keep the window open, however, my room was on the back of the hotel, the opposite side to the car park, the back of the hotel faces the motorway and there is a lot of noise.

Stayed here as a family of 4 to visit Blackpool. This was a last minute booking and the closest Premier Inn with availability. It's a 20 minute drive to Blackpool which we don't mind. The hotel is very clean. Room was ready on arrival at 3pm. Check in was quick and easy. This hotel is right next to the M6 but rooms have triple glazing so can't hear any traffic noise. Rooms are clean and quiet.
Negatives
We visited late October and our room was very hot at 26°c with no heating on. There is no aircon and the fan doesn't really help lower the temperature. We even left tge window open all day while out and it didn't reduce the temperature.

WIFI is very poor and doesn't always connect the hotel are aware of the issue. We paid for ultimate but couldn't connect!

Breakfast was good apart from on Saturday when it finished early due to Preston fans arriving at 10.45! This was our last day and wanted a chilled out morning but felt rushed to have breakfast and go. As we went down at the latest time there wasn't much selection left.

Exactly as you'd expect from a Premier Inn. Rooms were clean and tidy and front desk were very helpful and friendly. Only discomfort for me was how hot the room was at night and when next to a motorway air con would be a great benefit to this hotel.

What a lovely hotel, the room was lovely... Really clean, bed super comfy, good quality bathroom, plenty of hanging space, large amount of parking, no road noise.

Evening meal wasn't great and quite expensive for what we got but the breakfast was more than adequate, plenty to choose from.

12pm checkout was great, meant we weren't in a rush, would definitely recommend, but get a takeaway rather than eat in the adjacent pub

Stayed last night as my mum had an early appt at Royal Preston. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome by June on reception
. The room was clean and warm. We ate in the restaurant last night great food and lovely staff.... Sorry i didn't get the ladies name who served us. Breakfast this morning served by James & Chloe was also fantastic. Plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was perfect. Ten out of ten for me x

Book a room at this premier inn and the service was 5 star from the off. Was helped at the reception desk by a young gentleman called Adil who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We forgot our portable iron and Adil kindly provided us with an iron and ironing board at no additional costs. Served with a smile and cheer thanks again for your amazing customer service Adil. You are a credit to your company.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, but If in heatwave remember there is no Aircon, also normal fans need to be cleaned as fins where covered in dust n grim, but rest of room was good as usual, if satnav says take first right at round about, this puts you back on M6 miss that and it's not on right, food as always was great
