We didn't go into the house just walked around the extensive gardens and grounds. Cliveden is set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of walks for dogs and open spaces for children to run about. Absolutely idyllic. It's a bit pricey to get in but we are National Trust members so visit often.

Fabulous day seeing the gardens and then afternoon tea. Food was excellent, the best afternoon tea I've experienced. Beautiful (and comfortable!) dining room. Staff offering additional sandwiches or anything we wanted more of..always a nice touch. Not cheap, but well worth it for a special occasion.

Beautiful house, grounds and treks. Idyllic views next to the Thames.
National trust cafe and booths provide you all the refreshments you need. Multiple toilet facilities dotted around.
Afternoon Tea at the House is highly recommended.

The place is spectacular. Although the servers were very friendly, we waited over an hour for our food to be served even after several inquiries about why their promises of imminent delivery went unfulfilled. The manor and the grounds are amazing, but be aware that this magnificent place has no air conditioning, so try to stay at a time if year that will allow you to stay comfortably. A place of this high reputation and at a price of over $1100 US per night must do better than this. I am glad we went, but I'll pick another place next time.

Beautiful grounds with ample space for you to go walking around. We had lunch in the form of high tea with lovely sandwiches and mini desserts but, by far the best were the scones. Definitely one of the best I've had. The decoration inside varies from room to room so there is always something interesting to look at it has some incredible history behind.

This place is absolute perfection. Stayed a few days for a corporate get together - it was lovely.

Firstly, the building and the rooms are gorgeous, full of great decor choices and nicely laid out. The grounds are absolutely stunning too - if you get the opportunity for a guided tour do it, the scandalous stories from the past are hilarious!

The food in the various restaurants is second to none. Everything served timely and exquisitely presented, with fabulous accompanying wines. All of the waiting team throughout each meal/venue were excellent, and kept the wine pouring!

There is a Spa with several pools, hot tubs and jacuzzi’s indoor and outside in a nice garden - plus sauna and steam room. Perfect to wake up to in the morning.

My favourite thing about Cliveden was the room we had our dinner in on the final night - the French Dining Room. We sat at a table that has been used by the likes of Queen Victoria, Winston Churchill & Nancy Astor - epic!

I won’t forget this place in a hurry. Wonderful!

Had the loveliest Afternoon Tea here on Friday. As well as the usual sandwiches, scones and cakes there were also some savoury things which just made the tea a little bit different. Beautiful house and surroundings. Definitely somewhere to visit if like me Afternoon Tea is your thing!

This I a lovely place for a walk. Well sign posted! Great views of the Thames. Well run and looked after by the National Trust. Lots of car parking spaces. Dogs welcome in most of the grounds.
