We called for a beer before the match 5/2/22 Burton v sheffield Wednesday, it took 35 minutes to get served!!!!?? Only 2 girls behind bar just couldn't cope with massive numbers!! Landlord missing out by not putting extra staff on, or pull some pints himself!!!! Or put a bottle bar on? To all away fans better going elsewhere!!!

Large public house catering well for 3 coach load of football supporters. On the car park was a burger van that catered well for the large entourage providing cold drinks adequately for what was a very hot day

Went here before our pre season friendly, Blades v Burton, really friendly staff, great beer, short walk to the ground, loved it.
If you're early enough you can pay to park here too and maybe have a pint after the game aswell.

Called in for a beer pub the way to the match. Really friendly staff, had a great time here, good quality well kept beer.

Cosy decent size pub with freindly staff.
Can get busy on football night as its the away team pub for town games but always a good atmosphere and never seen any trouble in 8+ years.

Some decent live entertainment and big outdoor area for summer.
It's not really an eating out place, they do sell sandwiches, cobs and basic pub snacks but no hot food, apart from the food van in the carpark, which is more a morning brekky van unless its a match day ( shame as its a great food van )

Very busy inside the bar, so we stayed outside. Great having in a bar outside with a fairly quick turn around, with friendly bar staff.
