Well just had one of the best meals in along time at a special place.
The Birley Arms Bryning Ln, Preston PR4 1TN a lovely place, the staff where great, food was excellent. My steak was the best I have ever eaten seriously 😋
The atmosphere I'd just perfect and can't fault the whole place.
The own is a guy you have to meet Tony Davies he can't do enough for you. A genuine gentleman who wants you to enjoy your night your meal and everything you experience at The Birley Arms the place is an extention of Tony's family and you can feel this the moment you walk in the Doors.

This place has a great atmosphere. It was very busy but there were no delays which was great. Service is excellent, we were looked after very well. The food is particularly good. Good sized portions and my steak was cooked to perfection. The prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality of the food is excellent. It is wheelchair accessible with two parking spaces (unfortunately both were taken by cars without blue badges) and I didn't see the toilet facilities so I cannot comment. I'm not sure how many rooms it has but was told they were full. The campsite also looked very busy so it's obviously a popular place. My friends and I had a very good time here and all five of us commented how lovely the food was. Highly recommended. Booking is probably essential.

Only found this place recently. Been twice now on steak night.
We love it. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Lovely friendly feel to the place.
Food was excellent. Steaks cooked perfectly. Will be back to try different items from the menu.

I like the Birley Arms. The staff are friendly, a decent selection of red by the glass and the atmosphere has a good buzz to it. The food was well made, and is certainly good value for the cost - however there can be too much of a good thing, and this was the case for us. The meal we ordered seemed to come with everything - do you really need potatoes and chips? We left quite a lot of food and felt guilty as a result. To avoid food wastage, I would suggest that the main element of the meal is costed separately and the accompaniments charged individually - even if it’s just £1 a portion it would be sufficient to make people think if they really want it. Otherwise, very enjoyable, thanks.

We visited for a Sunday roast dinner to celebrate my wife's Birthday and my word we were not disappointed!!!
From the very moment we walked through the door the staff were great, all friendly and welcoming.
The meal itself was fabulous and the service we received was great. Nothing was too much trouble and special mention for Ernie who was good company and made us laugh!
We had a great time and you should all be very proud!
Thank you, Simon & Jane

Wd didn't stay we just dined....
We have been here multiple times in 2022 but our last visit in September will probably be the last to eat here , very poor quality, dry burgers hard to cut and chew/swallow , used to be served with side salad and onion rings not now yet same premium price, wasn't just my meal it was the whole party of people who were very shocked at the poor quality and the abrupt male staff member who had lost his previous cheery persona was abrupt no smile and quite rude. when a negative comment was made on a social media post that had several poor comments, that post was removed so clearly they don't show all honest reviews just good ones.
Whole visit was quite embarrassing for me.
This didn't seem like a one-off as chatting to locals they had similar experience

Was there last night for a 'Formal' dinner. The food was banging and the service was exceptional. Big 'UPS' in particular to the young brunette (ish) lady who kept forgetting who'd ordered what! No criticism lass, you Bossed it. Keep being you! You got dis!
