It's probably fair to say the decor could do with updating but for a business stopover don't let that put you off! A friendly welcome and smile is just what you need. Best night's sleep I've had away recently in a clean and comfortable bed! And make sure you have the full English breakfast, quality sausage and bacon with freshly made scrambled eggs sets you up for the day. I will rebook the next time I'm at Head office.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Perfect breakfast no matter if you choose continental or full english. Some bathrooms are little tight but everything is clean. Tea and coffee making in all rooms possible, free WiFi.

Excellent hotel stay with the family for two weeks. Really helpful staff from the manager, desk staff to the kitchen Staff and cleaners. Always polite and welcoming and went out of their way to help with any issues. They even modified a dressing table for me so I could better use as a computer desk when working from home during my stay. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Parking was always available and the breakfast was good. Last time I had this service was at a Five Star on a business trip (Oberoi Hotel in Delhi). It’s not a five star hotel but the decor was good and the price was excellent for what you get. Highly recommended ! (The Gurkha Palace restaurant next door is also excellent).

The people are lovely, prices are on point. Any plane enthusiast will love the location. Air museum over the road and futher down the road is an airport with planes that go over your stay. The food was lovely, place was cosy and room service was done in perfect time. Even worked around you. Parking can be a bit of a struggle but once parked and set up the stay is perfect. Some nice restaurants nearby, local amenities and a pub with a lovely view. 10/10 would stay again. If modernised i belive it would be a great opportunity for the place.

I have stayed 3 times and each time the staff have been friendly and helpful. No matter who is on the front desk the standard of care and attention to details is the same. Parking is free and there always seems to be availability. The rooms are very very clean and a good choice of breakfast, continental or cooked. Nearby there is a good choice of restaurants and a Coop. When I return to the area the Falcon is my top choice.
As a Business Coach I can see this independent business is getting it right. Not only a great customer experience but all the staff I have met, from catering, to cleaners to front of house everyone seems to be genuinely happy and pleased to be here

Was told we got upgraded room to a supreme deluxe double room but omg it was so small if that was their supreme deluxe room then what is a standard double room supposed to be like. Bed was fairly comfortable but not great also the furniture is very out dated as is the decor. Shower had so little water pressure an even the hot water tap on the sink didn't work so basically had no hot water. Staff were friendly , breakfast was alright. Unfortunately the hotel was so very hot so went to use the fan provided and it wasn't working properly an missing the oscillating function was missing. Tea an coffee provided in room was pretty standard although we got really small tea cups rather than a decent mug. The TV in the room worked but only if you didn't mind reading subtitles rather than hearing anything as the volume didn't actually work.

What can I say. This place was ok.
There is plenty of parking on site. But if it is full there is street parking opposite.
The receptionist was warm and welcoming.
Very dated decor and in need of updating.
The room - You can hear every single noise and there isn't one floorboard that doesn't creak. The shower head was disgusting and the carpet was soiled. The furniture is antique and the room desperately needs updating.
Breakfast - the options are limited so forget boiled, fried or poached eggs. You only get scrambled eggs. But they did have vegetable sausages and made them in the oven which was nice.
This place could do a lot more but unless it's improved I'll be giving this place a miss next time.
