The room is pretty standard for a travelodge and location is good to explore the neighbouring towns. What made the experience and stay so pleasant was the wonderful staff. Julie on the front desk was so welcoming and had great knowledge of the local area. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back.a

Checked in this evening with Julie at the front desk who was very accommodating and very helpful with local attractions and family friendly restaurants near the area!

When leaving to go out for dinner Julie asked if we also needed an extra cot in the family room as we was a family of 5 with a baby. Room is very nice and clean can not fault.

5 stars for good customer service and everything else!

It's a travelodge and a fairly old one at that.
Hidden away at services off the dual carriageway after the petrol station sharing car park with Starbucks (great for breakfast).
American style shower tubs not proper baths.
No proper disabled adapted rooms with wheel in showers !

Stayed here to attend a wedding at Crescent Turner Hotel which was a 5-minute taxi drive away, so perfect location for us. On arrival the reception was clean and the staff were friendly. This is the most run down Travelodge I've stayed in. The supposed-to-be blue carpet was mostly pink from stains - we refused to walk around with shoes off. The bath had a yellowing thick sheet of plastic super glued to the bottom to cover up God knows what. The mattress was slanted and lumpy so even after a few drinks I struggled to get a deep sleep. At least the pillows were comfortable. I get this is probably for truckers or hook-ups but honestly, just rip it all out and start again. Set fire to the carpet asap.

First of all, dont follow the postcode, it will take you to the wrong side of Thanet way. You'll be looking at your hotel but won't be able to get to it. Once there, after driving round, the receptionist kindly changed our room to one at the back as the front was near busy main road. Room ok for the price, carpet a bit discoloured but clean.

I can only speak from experience as I've been in nearly every Travelodge at some point. It's a Travelodge cheap as chips comfortable and welcoming no complaints from me as I know what to expect
