I had a very pleasant stay here, it suited my location needs as I was attending a few stops on the train away. Excellent helpful staff who were kept busy. A couple of minutes from the station and the northern end of Watford town, very convenient. Central Watford a few minutes by car or a stop on the train. While some find these hotels lacking, I find that while basic, it was roomy clean and had all you want. Breakfast was good and offered a decent choice. The restaurant had a reasonable selection too, I had fish and chips which was much better than I had expected. A little pricey but acceptable. Overall, I was happy and would stay here again. While noise is a problem, it gets much better later in the evening/night. I slept fine.

Good hotel, good location for harry potter shuttle bus (15mins to Leavesden), basic but clean. Breakfast was very good. No bells or whistles but more than adequate. The breakfast areas were a little crowded but it was peak season. Staff were polite but could have been a little more friendly and welcoming. No complaints especially for the price. Great value!

Very nice hotel, very close to Watford junction train station which was handy. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was comfortable as wee had three small children with us. Certain things in room could of been cleaned better, but I might just been picky. There was some things that could do with get renewed in room. But overall was a very pleasant stay. Security to get in and out hotel was very good. No noise at all from outside. Would recommend for a quick stay.

Room was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming, polite and accommodating... nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were plentiful with a great selection of items ranging from cooked to pastries and cereals. Good value for money n easy access to trains and bus access for Harry Potter Studios Tour.

Hotel was lovely, very clean, nicely decorated, great amenities and in a great location for the Harry Potter tour which was the reason for our stay. Only problem was the beds. A double bed, which was broken in the middle and squeaked, and a sofa bed, which was flimsy and uncomfortable, as it turned out totally unnecessary as the room was big enough for another double bed and in fact it would've fit better. And the carpet was in need of a very good, deep clean. Overall not bad for a night's stay. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

Clean, comfortable, safe. Staff were excellent. Great location, only downside of being near train station is the noise at night.

Really liked the fact that lifts/stairs could only be accessed with a room card - gave an extra feeling of safety.

Stayed here before. Booked two rooms one double bed and one two singles. Ended up staying in the two single bed bedroom as the beds were bigger and gave my mother in law the double bed bedroom. There were no water glasses (basic thing to have in the rooms) in either rooms and the extractor fan in our room did not work. Maintenance was not in and offered to move us but we were only there for one night and declined. Breakfast was amazing, really great.

A good, basic hotel with easy acess into London and very convenient for shuttle bus to Warner Brothers Studio Tours. Rooms clean, with good amenities. Good breakfast, lots of choice. Feels safe, parking available.
