First impressions was good, once you walk in it's very modern and stylish, lovely Odyssey restaurant and good breakfast. However rooms are run down, our bed and bedding was like a 100 old and bed frame had stains... Bathroom walls had mould, the furniture is torn down and room cleanliness is really bad... We had to constantly ask receptionist to reactivate room cards as they kept deactivating... But the worst part is that windows don't open! So no fresh air and we stayed in that stuffy room for 4 nights, left the hotel with serious headache.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is some distance away from the center of town. Service was lacking in the restaurant. I unfortunately forgot my jacket in my room closet and called the hotel after I checked out to inform them. But the hotel did not find it. My phone call and 3 emails received no response. I had to go there personally a week later (as I live 3 hours away) to find out. So apparently housekeeping kept the jacket and I hope the person who has it makes good use of it.

Really nice place. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Great parking. A bit out of the way but, worth the drive. Didn't eat here but, food looked great. Had coffee and cake. Which was lovely. Would definitely stay again and will try the food next time.

Haven’t stayed but great location for lunch or meetings due to location, plenty of parking and easy access to M3, A34 and A31 for anyone travelling to Winchester. Always been good service but make sure you register your number plate on reception when you go in to ensure you’re not charged for parking whilst being there. Plenty of notices around to remind you but easily forgotten once your sat down!

We have been here few times with my husband and we loved it. After our wedding we couldn't go to honeymoon so we thought we book one night here with massage and far away from our busy work. We booked the spa package with one night including breakfast, dinner and 50 min treatment. They didn't ask any message appointment availability but we thought we booked so they expecting us. 2 days before weekend didn't get any information so my husband called them what time our massage. They said the weekend what we booked full. They just ruined our weekend and I was really disappointed If they are offering something can you do it or just put more details on please book your massage appointment as well. They just promised all day calling back but this didn't happened and when we called them next morning they didn't know anything about it and we didn't have a chance to book something else. Really bad communication between staff and management. Usually I do understand people has mistake but I was really looking forward this weekend to relax with my husband and don't think about work. We are really upset customers

Really nice hotel. Nice and up to date. Clean and tidy. The restaurant menu is good and the food fine, but the service was slow and a bit disjointed. The conference facilities are nice, but again a bit poor on service. I had to ask my candidates to keep their coffee mugs because there wasn't enough and also some of the candidates dietary requirements were missing on their enrollment forms. Over all the accommodation and event went well and engagement with the staff was always friendly.

We had a three day break to visit Winchester Christmas market and the Holiday Inn was a suitable base. Plenty of free parking. Check in easy and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very good and temperature very good. Unfortunate that there were no biscuits supplied in the room with tea and coffee. Buffet breakfast very good with extensive buffet. Menu in the dining room was good. Service not the quickest - we waited nearly an hour one night. The major negative was the low temperature in the reception area and dining room. It was very cold!

The overall cleanliness of the hotel and rooms is good. A few things let it down. Mould round the bath and peeling paint. We went for breakfast and an empty wine bottle with 4 cups was outside a room. When we came back to our room at 6pm it was still there. Staff are miserable and not one engaged with us even when we said “good evening “ they just looked at us like we were something off their shoes. The dining area was freezing 🥶. People were wearing coats it was so cold. Asked the staff to turn the heating up and they were completely oblivious to our plight. Staff seem very thin on the ground but there is no connection even when they cleaned our plates away. We tried to engage and got absolutely nothing back. Food is good but not much on the menu.
