Premier Inn Portsmouth Havant hotel

Had a lovely overnight stay, for not a very nice reason. Room was excellent, good service from friendly, welcoming staff. Ideal location for what we had to do.

The room they put us through smelled very dump and mouldy. In the next room they pus us, they forgot to put towels... The other room we booked, the ac didn't work properly. Not pleasant experience here at all.

Requested ground floor as no lift. Good control of room Aircon/heating with very good help from reception. Nearby dual carriageway was not a problem even when sitting outside Beefeater.
Plenty parking but steep slope from hotel for majority of it.
Great access for Portsmouth, ferries etc.

It was the Rusty Cutter The meal deal was not very clear as they had run out cCod so we would have to pay £2extra for Haddock ,we don't the gammon steaks and a sweet

Room 7 I had, funny smelling room, a mix between moth balls and water leak. Awkward parking it's either downhill or too far uphill.

Damp smell in room. Drainpipe outside broken and may be the cause. Hotel has car park on a hill with quite tight parking spaces. It is also very close to the main road so opening the window for fresh air led to lots of road noise. Was pleased to have a break from work but shame that the hotel room wasn't great.

Compared to other Premier inns this was definitely not up the scratch to what I'm use to. It's old and creaky floors. It was quite a step in and out of the bath/shower I'm not the tallest of people. I don't think I'll stay here again unless I'm desperate for a break otherwise I'll be staying elsewhere.

Perfect. Very welcoming and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel.
Clean and comfortable room ,and a perfect night's sleep.slept like a baby all-night.
We shall be returning here.
