Stayed almost a year ago but forgot to review then - so here goes a review from the memory!
Our room was on the front of the hotel overlooking the parking and the pub opposite.
Which made for quite a noisy evening as the patrons came out for a smoke and a shout at each other.

Parking was the biggest letdown though, spaces were very tight and there was only selected areas you could use - we arrived early evening and the only spaces available weren't in the hotel's 'marked' area with warning signs for contraventions elsewhere, so had to keep trotting down to see if someone from the pub had gone home and on the 2nd trip down i just sat in the car for 20ish minutes and waited for someone to leave a space.

Room was fine - usual fare, staff friendly and efficient - it's a lovely location for a wander dockside, just let down by the postage stamp size spaces.

The perfect stay for a weekend in Gloucester. The rooms were sparkling clean, the bathrooms looked new. Perfectly situated by the Quays and loads of good restaurants, walking distance to the Gloucester Cathedral. The Beefeater was a convenient place for breakfast and they were all lovely and helpful. Vegan sausage and bacon options too. I’ll stay here again next time I’m back

Got charged with a £70 parking fine, despite following all the instructions of the staff. My appeal was rejected, again after following the staff instructions to send booking number to the dining company. Use this hotel at your own risk.

When booking taxi from reception, who are 555555 they charge you £2 on top of the fare. But be more careful if you phone taxi 555222.....because when they know you going to the hotel they knock the metre off and make up the fare, ie charge twice the price and when I question the price dropped by £2 but was still more then the original price paid. The hotel was clean but you can here everything from other rooms from people talking to even walking around the room, its not the cheapest but good location

Overnight stay, just the one night. Could have been a hotel room anywhere in the world. Clean, modern, nice.
Only spoke to the staff at check-in, but the were pleasant and efficient.
Breakfast at the restaurant opposite - self service - quite nice, I had the cooked breakfast - pre-prepared food kept hot under heat lamps. Black pudding was tasty 😋
Well located on the docks, with a cinema gym, and a number of restaurants & coffee shops nearby. Cathedral, town centre and soldiers of Gloucester museum just a short walk away. Supermarket, Burger King, and a variety of other shops just across the road.
Maybe a bit short of parking?
Overall, pretty good 👍

Best customer service. Front desk staff was amazing on arrival after a long journey. Rooms are clean and would come back. I would like to mention Apina who was great and made us feel welcomed. She is an asset to the company.

Stayed here when we arranged to meet with family. As is becoming quite common when we stay at Premier Inn, our room wasn't ready at the normal check in time and we had to wait in the reception for 45 minutes. This was despite being told initially it would be ready in 10 minutes. Another common problem that keeps occurring is poor staffing at breakfast, resulting in having to wait for breakfast items to be cooked while the rest of your breakfast goes cold on the plate. Only one toaster was working, the coffee machine also broke during breakfast, meaning queuing at the bar for anything other than black coffee. This was on top of having to ask for plates, tea pot, milk jugs, croissants and other food items that were missing. Premier Inn have been my go to place to stay for a long time, but my experience of the last couple of years (probably 5-6 stays) will make me consider using competitors in the future.

Staff very friendly, room was clean, but watch out where you park, you could be slapped with an £85 fine if you not parked behind the pillars, as you can only stay an hour, but if your staying over night it becomes very expensive, 5 stars for Premier Inn 3 stars for carpark
