The hotel was usual premier inn standard. Clean rooms comfortable beds and good family room. Good location too. Always use premier inn when travelling.
However this stay was let down by the attached restaurant. We took the meal deal and sat for two and half hours just to get two courses. Last meal came out 15 minutes after others and sauces took so long we had eaten food. This length of time was very uncomfortable and stressful with 2 toddlers and one adult with a disability.
Would think twice about using this premier inn again because of this.

Unplanned stay after an extremely stressful day! Arrived to the politest staff who couldn’t do enough for my exhausted family and I. Special shout out to the 2 ladies on reception, I wish I’d taken your names. Room was prepared quickly including a cot for our little one. Very clean and one of the most comfortable Premier Inn’s I have stayed in.
Breakfast was good. Cooked well and lots of choice. Thank you. Would recommend.

I always like staying in Premier Inn's, never had a bad experience and you always know what to expect. But this particular hotel was horrific.

Hotel parking is a nightmare, with trucks and cars parked anywhere and everywhere outside of spaces. When we got into the hotel, the hallways and lift stunk of cigarette smoke and the room smelt musky and stuffy. The air conditioning didn't work which didn't help either.

The first PI that I've stayed in which had hollow and thin walls, I could hear TV's and talking from the rooms either side of me. Every footstep of the room above me thumped through the floor. The morning maids made a ridiculous amount of noise in the hallway too, constantly clinking glasses and banging things, bumping into walls/doors.

Lastly, PI's always have the best beds and I always sleep really well, but this was an exception. Hard and uncomfortable as well as the pillows being terrible.

Staff at the front desk were welcoming and polite, so no fault of their own. But this experience has really made me reconsider going straight for a Premier Inn whenever I need a hotel.

Room was clean and in good condition. Was also one of the few times we ordered a cot for the baby and actually got it which was great! Food was good in the morning. Only real issue was some of the highchairs were missing their straps/fittings which meant we couldn't use them as our baby is too young to be in a high chair without them. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was fine, easy to get to though the parking was a little confusing. Having a restaurant on site was very useful and the food there was reasonably priced and came quickly as well as being tasty.

STAFF at the Premier inn
I was very impressed with how helpful the staff all are. Teresa at reception was so helpful kind and considerate of all our needs. Helping out. Giving us local information as to where the best places to go. And
Hailey and (( forgive me ) a younger lady with her) were so very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The best experience I have had in a long time.
Thank you.

AVOID THE PUB NEXT DOOR. FOOD AWFUL.
The food is not good. The staff are poor. Still eating starters and they brought out our mains.
When we stopped picking through our mains( and believe me there was not much food gone, I was asked was everything OK. We replied NO "oh" then walked off. £84 for two......poor.

I have been in the Premier Inn @ Andover every other week this year.
The hotel is brilliant as are the staff.
However the food at the Portway Inn is getting to be an issue.
Breakfast a good vet could bring the pork products back to life.
Tonight a Sirloin steak. Completely inedible. Everything rubbery and cold.
I am back week after next, McDonalds over the road will be my preferred choice!
Get a grip Breweres Fayre!
