Premier Inn Cheltenham Town Centre hotel

The location of the hotel is convenient.

The room is basic but functional, however, the bedding was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from the street. As a result it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. Quality of amenities is below average, towels are old and need replacing, and breakfast finishes too early.

Overall feels like only the bare minimum amount effort is invested on ensuring a pleasant stay for your guests. You can and should do much better.

I’ve traveled a great deal and this premier inn really are great at customer service. There was nothing to big or out of the question. The staff are just brilliant.
The breakfast was excellent.
Runny poached eggs stacked on crispy hash brown and black pudding anyone!
The rooms are spacious and clean. Aircon worked perfectly. You can’t open the windows but the aircon works so this is ok. Tea and really nice coffee machine with extra bits (like sugar or teabags) if you need can be self collected in reception.
Decent sized mini fridge. We picked up a small milk from a Tesco express which is just around the corner. The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star is that I don’t think the beds are Hypnos branded and quite bouncy so if your partner tosses and turns you will feel it. I’m a sensitive sleeper so maybe this is just an isolated problem I experienced.
It’s a great location to the brewery quarter too.
I recommend the premier plus. Makes your stay extra special.

Been to lots of Premier Inns lately. This is one of the best. Bedrooms as good as any, standard we've come to expect from Premier Inn, dining room was lovely, and service was excellent. We have a close relative in Cheltenham, so we'll be back. Highly recommended.

Usual Premier Inn, with comfortable quiet room. Car park is just at the end of the street. Did decide to stop my access card working 1/2 hour before we were due to leave. So when loading the car at checkout time - couldn't get back into the room. Quite annoying as there was no one on the checkout desk then.

Had a great experience at this Premier Inn. Room was much nicer than we expected, really great value for money (less than £50/night). The bed was really comfortable and we even got a bath! Staff was extremely friendly, eager to check us in and help with any requests. Location was excellent, in the brewery quarter of town centre where there are a lot of restaurants and entertainment options. Everything was within walking distance. I even forgot something valuable in the room and the staff helped me get it back in no time, so I am really grateful to them. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location in town centre. Clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Glad to see Baylis and Harding wash in the bathroom! I just wish Premier Inn would get rid of bath tubs and replace with walk in showers. The Tub was quite high and i was worried getting out of it. Is there any need for tubs?? Also I prefer hand held showers over the fixed wall ones. Great breakfast.

Brilliant long weekend. Very good rooms. Beds comfortable, bathrooms clean and warm and plenty of hot water. Food excellent. Staff brilliant service. Will definately be staying again soon.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and informative. The room was clean, there were extra pillows if needed too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the reception toilets were in about 2 cm of water however as soon as it was brought to the attention of the front staff, it was dealt with.
