Good quality room for the price. One scuff mark to wall but otherwise clean & well fitted out. Tea/coffee in room, plus trouser press & mini fridge. Front desk very helpful, calling taxis & serving tea outside. Good buffet style breakfast, full English plus bread products. Note it's about 20 mins walk from Epping station, take a cab!

Tough to bash this place because the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were there two nights. Our toilet wasn't operating properly, and the room had a dirty B.O. smell. They gave us another room which was slightly better. The carpets are stained, everything is worn, bathroom tiny. Good luck drying off and keeping your towel off the toilet. Our bathroom in Amsterdam was just as small but laid out better. As others have said this place needs updating, but I understand with everything so expensive in England it's tough to justify the expense. Pretty cheap to stay here, was relatively clean, but there is a local Bed and Breakfast we will go to next time that was full up this weekend. The English breakfast was yummy and for £8.99 you couldn't beat it.

The hotel staff were very nice. We only stayed 1 night. The room was medium sized and everything looked clean. The mattress and pillows were old and flat, not very comfortable either. The hallway smelled and the parking spaces were very small, even for my little car. We didn't partake in any of the food or bar but they are available until 9:30 PM. After 9:30, you are basically on your own, which sucks for people going out for the day and coming back late hungry, or if you are desparate sandwiches are available for purchase. Good for if you plan on taking the train into London and coming back to sleep, as the single night only cost £75.

The hotel was in a convenient location. The room was a good size but the bathroom needed updating, the shower was low powered and either too hot or cold. The building is a series of 60s style blocks linked by corridors which just felt slightly grim compared to other hotels. There was a good selection for breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was ok as a budget hotel but nothing special so probably won't return

First time we have stayed here, just for one night. Arrived late so did not use the restaurant. However had a great breakfast in the morning, good quality, plenty to choose from. Help yourself to decent filter coffee, couldn't fault it. Nice friendly welcome, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room, everything clean...and free parking! What's not to like. Will use it again when down in Walthamstow (which offers very little in terms of accommodation with parking).

Zero stars.
Never stay here.
Especially contractors.
Not if you want your vans done over.

We have used this hotel before and then it looked like a functioning hotel. However on this occasion you would think it had closed down. One guy on reception when we arrived, he was polite and friendly enough. It was very clear that the restaurant would not be available. He told us that if we needed anything to ring the number on the door. We ran out of toilet paper, so I walked to the reception, all doors were locked and nobody answered the phone! If you literally just want a bed for a night, then this is the place to be, however bring your own loo roll just in case.
