My second visit this year to a very special hotel. Lovely people and a homely feel to the place. A trip down memory lane with stories a plenty. Looking forward to returning next year.

Wow what a lovely weekend. Peter and his mother Doreen are truly brilliant hosts. Peter has a wealth of historic information and will advise you on the best places to see and go and he did not disappoint. Our room was attended to daily and the finishing touches were second to none.. ,Mini Easter eggs on the breakfast table on Easter Sunday! They are all about their customers...don't understand the negative reviews the best holiday my husband and I have had in a long time. Well done Peter keep doing what you are doing!

Just spent 2 night here. Peter was a delight to talk to very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean. Very nice breakfast. Nice food. We will be back for another visit.

This building has the potential of becoming a 4 star hotel. The Gardens are beautiful and could be used for a outdoor wedding venue during the pandemic. The bar and restaurant area has kept its original features with log fires and a cozy feel. If I lived locally I would choose this as a venue for any celebration.

It was well run down and sadly missed the likes of Bazil and Manuel

It is outdated, thrown together furniture from different ages, a step down from faulty towers.
