Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was excellent as was the pool. Right next to a fabulous trail up to the top of box hill with beautiful views and a cafe.
Quite close to a main road and roundabout and consequently rooms at the front of the hotel had some road noise.
Parking is opposite the hotel and is charged at £10 a day, but there is free parking on the road if you can find space between the double yellows.

I had the most wonderful, relaxing and restorative stay here last night. The hotel is beautiful, and set in the stunning Box Hill area, a designated beauty spot. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a little balcony overlooking the charming hotel gardens. There is a good sized clean heated swimming pool which was awesome! Dinner was absolutely out of this world, and the service was prompt and we felt very welcomed by the effective and warm servers. Special mention to Des, a very charismatic man who went out of his way for us and made our evening extra special for us. Breakfast was delicious too. I can't wait to go back, thanks guys!!

I've been to this hotel numerous times over the year now, and it never fails to deliver top quality service to everyone. From friendly staff to delicious restaurant food night and day.. They have met very one of my requirements especially when
I've been staying with my elderly mum. The pool is large and heated with plenty of sunbeds. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained throughout.. Will definitely be back here again very soon.

Lovely swimming pool and river walks. Friendly staff. Room could have been a bit cleaner in the corners, but comfy with decent smart TV. Last night's empty bottles were left to be cleared away in different parts of the hotel for a little too long. Our visit was also marred by cloudy weather so did not enjoy to the full. But we still enjoyed... and look forward to the next time. Hope we have better weather.

Food in restaurant was amazing! Really good food but not alot to chose from. I had the sea bass so really recommended! Rooms were lovely only problem was you can literally hear the next door people just talking they wasn't even being loud I mean that needs attention I couldn't sleep until 3am because of this! Then at 8am a fire alarm went off in our room for no reason at all it seemed? overall a nice hotel with a outside swimming pool!

I stayed here whilst travelling the North Downs Way, this was my first stop having hiked from Farnham. The hotel was the only one within any reasonable distance from Box Hill and certainly the most expensive place I had to stay.

Considering how much the room was for the night, especially in comparison to other places I stayed for less than half the price, I have to say I was slightly disappointed, the space was small, in some places the carpet was threadbare and the bathroom facilities were very dated.

The hotel itself was very nice, however, it was somewhat understaffed (I don't blame anyone for this as I know it is a fairly common theme currently - and the staff that were there were certainly not just hanging around) so it meant that there were often either no staff at the bar or, those that were, didn't seem to know how to work anything but were jumping in just to avoid customers waiting.

Overall I can only say that it was okay and fitted what I required but I certainly wasn't inspired to rush in for another visit.

Travelled for work and the reviews seemed good so gave it a try.
Well located and very attractive from inside and out so felt it was a good choice.
Food was excellent and staff were friendly.
Room was ok but seemed a little basic which could of done with a bit more.
I would rather pay more for this specific hotel and stay again if they got the room to sort the rest of the beautiful building.
Shame because it could be a romantic hot spot if they pulled it off.

Popped into the hotel lobby for refreshments after a walk at Box Park. We had the most wonderful greeting from Paul at Reception, who also seated us and served us our drinks. He was so friendly, attentive and helpful and I will definitely revisit because of this. Seldom do I see high levels of service like this nowadays. Protect Paul at all costs as he is a true gem!
