The Bull Inn

Went yesterday to this pub for some lunch after a dog walk. LOVELY! My partner had a roast which he said was fabulous and I had a burger. EATON MESS TO FINISH THE meal <3 If we will come back to the village, this is where we will go to eat.

This is my second visit to The Bull Inn and was made to feel most welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave good advice regarding the beers that they sell .
It has plenty of tables outside and it is table service
On my next visit I hope to sample some of the food

My family of 8 have come to stay in the beautiful Charlbury , we came to the Bull for an evening meal . On entering we found the atmosphere to be warm , friendly and charming. We individually really enjoyed our meal , the service was brilliant we felt well looked after and very at ease . We would like to express our gratitude to your amazing chef , he provided the most delicious food , my partner said it was the best burger he’d ever eaten , I thought I was going to have to drag him away at one point !
I will thoroughly recommend the Bull and will definitely return one day .

Nice meal, would have been nice to have more than a teaspoon of mushy peas and the sweet potato noodle dish could have been a better sized portion, tasty though. Some others had the belly pork and loved the flavour but had to order chips as a side as nothing but salad included. Overall though a good meal.

Just had a fantastic meal at the Bull Inn. After a long walk we arrived at 4, 1 hour too early to eat, however we were made very welcome in a fab comfy sofa till 5 when we ate delicious mains and deserts served by lovely super friendly staff at very decent prices. Def well recommended

I was taken to the bull for my birthday and on arrival, there was a friendly greeting from the staff who then showed us to our table. The waitress was amazing and very polite when taking our order and not getting irritated by my indecisiveness and gave me recommendations out of the 3 dishes I was torn between. I ended up having the smoked chicken pot pie and it was DELICIOUS! I was told that the pie came with veg on the side but then when the food was brought to our table, I was told they had run out and that they were going to replace them with some chefs vegetable, which would've cost extra, on the house - they were amazing too. Every staff member that spoke to us wished me a happy birthday even the chef! Awesome pub - shame I don't live closer. Only 2 slight issues is that the pie was quickly gone and the car park is a little bit snug but worth it to enjoy the pub itself. Thank you team at The Bull :)

The rooms here are exceptional. So clean, spacious - the bed was so comfy and the free standing bath was great! Would absolutely come back to stay here again.

Didn’t stay but had dinner at the restaurant. The attention to detail was incredible, staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu, food was amazing. A must visit!!
