We had the pleasure of visiting recently and our dinner of various small plates was exceptional. The staff and setting are superb. We celebrated our marriage at The Old Rectory five years ago, and it’s wonderful to see this special place continue to thrive.

Had our wedding here and honestly can't praise it enough, Lisa and Becci were so helpful and made the hectic process of wedding planning much easier, including having a backup location to account for the weather.

Even my picky requests were taken into account and I would highly recommend this place for any event.

I didn't stay at the rooms as they were rather pricey so can't fairly rate the facilities.

The only downside to the venue is that music can't be too loud in the evening due to the location which is very understandable

We celebrated my Mother's 70th birthday here a few days ago. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even finding some balloons for our table after finding out we didn't have any. Our waitress, Fiona, was superb throughout, always at hand and she never stopped! The barman also made us a cocktail that wasn't on the menu to mimic one from a family holiday 👌
We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, the baked camembert and the prawns were particularly good.
We were also very impressed with the decor in the room, it looked stunning.
We would all happily return. Thank you for helping us celebrate such a lovely occasion.

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding at Old Rectory House Hotel and so much of that was down to the venue and everything the staff did for us. Lisa, Becci, and Fiona were so attentive, professional, and personable and nothing we asked for was too much trouble, including asking for something entirely off-menu to have as our main meal. All our guests were commenting throughout the day how impressed they were with the venue and everyone who worked there, and the food went down an absolute storm! We know the team run weddings all the time and that came through in their professionalism and expertise, but they also managed to make us feel like ours was the most important event of the year. It didn't feel as though the team were just doing their job, it felt like they were thoroughly invested in us having the wedding of our dreams - there were so many little ways they went the extra mile, like making sure guests were using the polaroid camera or wrapping us up our leftover dessert and putting it in our room. If you're considering booking the Old Rectory House for your wedding, you won't regret it!!

My wife and I had our wedding here a couple of months ago and it was an amazing experience thanks in part to the wonderful and accommodating staff as well as the venue itself which was the perfect aesthetic for us.

There were some initial concerns in the months leading up to the wedding due to some miscommunication and difficulty contacting management, but I believe this was largely down to the transition of the new wedding coordinator, Becky, that was happening at the time.

The day itself however was near perfect. We planned to hold the ceremony in the garden but unfortunately it had to moved inside at the last minute due to rain, which the staff handled incredibly professionally and with little stress for myself or my wife.

The food provided by The Orangery was excellent and completely catered to our dietary requirements. We felt very accommodated so far as to Becky offering to replace all the milk in the rooms to oat milk to fit our diets.

Whilst the building itself is stunning, the usual minor issues that come with a building of its age still apply here. Some narrow corridors and low ceilings, thin walls and creaky floors that let more noise pass through than would be desired. Unfortunately these are all quirks of most older buildings such as the Old Rectory House and so there is little to be done outside of large scale renovations.

Overall our wedding day was an incredible experience that was helped in large part by the professional and friendly staff, and the beautiful aesthetic of the whole venue. In particular I want to give a massive thanks to both Lisa and Becky for all their help!

My husband and I got married at the Old Rectory House hotel in September and had the best time celebrating with our friends and family. Becci and Lisa were great from the beginning and made the whole experience smooth.
Great food, reasonably priced and lovely intimate venue. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book a wedding in Redditch.

We had our wedding here on the 11th November 2022 and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

We had a bit of a rush with planning and organising, due to a family member being diagnosed with a terminal illness, but the ladies at Old Rectory House were there to answer any questions and help where they could.

Lisa, the manager was a god send on the day and the night before, putting me at ease and being there to help us with various bits and bobs. Becci was also great on email when I needed to check measurements etc.

The venue itself is utterly charming, it's perfect for an intimate wedding or family event. The decor is an absolute delight and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - everyone was impressed. The wedding ceremony room we chose was the Orangery and the turnaround time between the ceremony and wedding breakfast was done at record speed. It was so beautiful.

The whole day was orchestrated for us with professionalism and charm; they bossed (in the nicest sense of the word) people around for me, basically and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was incredible, in fact it went so quickly my husband was disappointed he didn't get seconds!! The choices all sounded delicious, it was very hard for us to pick which ones we were going to go with and we ended up having more than we needed. The only thing I would suggest for them is having someone monitoring the food as I think some people may have been a little greedy!!

The breakfast the following morning was also fabulous. I was impressed with the quality and the amount of choices we had, it was like being in a upmarket restaurant. I believe there were six or seven breakfast options, including vegan and vegetarian. I was a little too hungover to enjoy it properly though :(

The drinks options were also surprising, they had my favourite non-alcoholic rose cava and plenty of larger choices for those who didn't like wine.

All in all, an incredibly emotional and perfect day. If anyone wants to see the video, it's on YouTube as Waine & Chelle's Wedding - 11th November 2022. Feel free to view as the videographers have showcased the venue perfectly.
