Pros:
Close to transportation.
Quiet area.
Decent-sized room.
Everything in the room worked.
Pool and spa had nice facilities.

Cons:
Terrible restaurant and lounge service.
Card keys needed to be replaced daily.
Extremely busy front desk with long lines each day.
Elevators frequently broke down; one elevator was broken during the entire stay.
Pool cost ₤5 per day and was closed frequently. Had non-hotel guests taking up half the pool.
No ice machines or fridges.

Two rooms,11 days in June 2022. Picked this place based on the brand and location. The location was good, but the brand was meaningless.

The card keys are horrible! They rarely worked and had to be replaced daily. Given elevator problems and lines at the front desk, this was a MAJOR SOURCE OF GRIEF each and every day. We ensured the keys were kept away from sources of interference etc. Was appalled at the restaurant service. Very busy in the mornings, but limited in what food was available. Scrambled eggs were practically floating in the tray, they were so wet. We never had breakfast there again. The restaurant was unavailable after breakfast. Room service is advertised, but they NEVER answered the phone. I tried multiple times, over multiple days, and never got an answer. Finally had to go down to the front desk, which directed me to the lounge bar to order. The people at the lounge bar were difficult to get attention from, and rude on multiple occasions. The room service dinner that was delivered was excellent.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down.

The room we were in was very spacious. With a separate shower and bath. The room was on the fourth floor. It had air conditioning and plenty of space for my kids to move around. Downstairs the reception area was huge not crowded. The breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. You could have it ordered to your room too.

Lovely hotel, pool, garden, central location and staff superb. Easy access to hotel and also nearby tube station. Lots of places to eat locally. Some great , some not so. Very busy hotel and popular with families. Only downside (as with other places in London) they add a 12.5% service charge without advising you. Be careful when thinking of tips.

Best time ever with my better half, Kensington was so beautiful. The hotel was close to everything, loved that. Fun memories.

Historic moments too, the Queen died while we were there. She's such an important part of our English history and future, an end of an era. Grateful to have been there to mourn.

The staff were kind, polite and made our stay even better.

The overall location of this Hotel, whilst in a very competitive market, is good. A 2min walk from the Underground, and with plenty of lovely Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, shops & London Sights on the doorstep.

The Hotel itself has quite a grand & spacious Lobby area, bar & Restaurant, with function rooms on the ground floor too, quite deceiving from the relatively small entrance.

Staff are Welcoming, but Check In was slow, and didn't seem to have much order.

Upon my check in at around 6.30pm, I was told my room wasn't ready? This seemed quite strange, however, the Hotel was full & may be staffing levels lower than normal.

This problem was fairly quickly resolved, with my small double, street view, available.

Comfort levels are pretty standard within Holiday Inn Hotels, however I would have expected a complimentary Bottle of water in the room, but there wasn't.

Sleep quality was OK, & the shower was nice & powerful.

My rate didn't include Breakfast & as there was an abundance of restaurant choice, I didn't know why anyone would need to eat in the Hotel restaurant.

Overall, for the odd night away (mine was for work purposes) I would stay here again, mainly due to the convenience of location.

Was a bit hesitant to stay here after seeing some reviews, however to our surprise we had a wonderful stay.

Even with the business of the London Marathon, the staff was pleasant, dinning room was managed well, and overall, the hotel had a great atmosphere.

The only complaint I have is that our room was not ready until 30 minutes after check-in time.. but that was minimal and barely a complaint as the rest of our stay made up for it.

Great location. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is in walking distance of a few museums and a lot of stores. The tub is also in walking distance so no worries about getting around. Need to go grocery shopping there’s a Whole Foods 10 minute walk away. The swimming pool is super nice there’s a bar and the staff is really friendly. I can’t complain.

I thought I was getting a normal American decent holiday Inn hotel but when I walked through the doors I realized OH SHOOT this place is nice!
It has a really big nice lobby and bar, with huge conference rooms, a pool and a sauna with a workout room. Service was pretty good, and breakfast was better and fancier than expected. The rooms are small but nice.
