We had booked this hotel as it was near to where my partners’ daughter was attending a scout camp.

The location was great as being right in the town, it gave us the opportunity to explore the sights on foot. The room was very clean and had all the required facilities. There were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and we decided to try a few of them, which were within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Both my partner and I had a very pleasant stay and experience from when we arrived until we departed.

Nice clean room, great location for exploring St Albans. My only complaint is the room we had was near to the main AC on outside of building, which was very noisy all night. Would choose other side of build if we stayed again.

Great place to stay in St Albans Close to lots of bars and shops. This wouldn't be a great place if you have a wheelchair as access from outside s via steps and very tight inside with doors ect. Lovely staff and excellent service I would love to go back.

Great weekend break away. Place is beautiful. Rooms are very cosy nice and warm this time of year. Super clean bathroom and good shower.
Breakfast is very much worth it. Continental with fruit in little jars was great touch. Cooked breakfast was very good and filling.
Lounge bar is small and good place for a drink before bedtime .
All staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely visit again

Decent, modern hotel which is spotlessly new. The room was nice although the "ground" floor is more like lower ground, and many of the rooms look out onto a wall, so it feels a bit like a cave. The hotel is very central though so very easy to get anywhere in Central St Albans. Parking is a little tricky but fine - you can stop in the car park behind the hotel and then move the car to the car park, which is an easy 4 mins walk from the hotel.

Stayed early November. Got a super upgrade to a lovely room. Very unique hotel, boutique is a good term for it. Charming and well appointed. Easy walking distance to the beautiful town of St Albans. Loved it. Booked to go again in January for my wife’s birthday.

Very poor service and already showing signs of wear. They do not like to acknowledge or honour Hilton benefits and tried to charge me for a late check out. Staff more interested in chatting to each other than serving customers. Provided with adjoining room which made it feel like my neighbour was in bed next to me. Overall extremely disappointed and won’t be returning - they need to remove the Hilton sign from the door.

Nice hotel close to the center of St Albans. It's run by Hilton group and it has it's standards. The design of the hotel keeps part of the original style of the building, but with a modern "touch", and looks beautiful.

The rooms are big and comfortable (very nice beds). The only problem I see of the rooms is the windows. The windows are not noise probe and some rooms can be noisy (specially the ones looking to the parking lot). The temperature regulation is as well not optimal due to the same reason: the windows.

The breakfast service is not buffe, but it is of very nice quality. Haven't tried the restaurant service so cannot evaluate it. The bar is small but very nice.

It doesn't have a gym but it has a parking lot.

A very good option to stay in St Albans with plenty of shopping and restaurant possibilities around.
