Orchid Epsom Hotel, Sure Collection by Best Western, Off A3, Epsom

The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The pub had a variety of food on offer at reasonable prices and the food was excellent. I was able to book a taxi from the freephone in reception the next morning to take me to the station.

The room was adequate, but nothing special. The furniture and fittings looked a bit tired and slightly tatty. The reception staff were friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was ok, ad was delivered on time, however, breakfast in a paper bag is never anything to write home about. The worst thing was the noise on the first night. Admittedly, it was not the staff's fault, it was obviously other guests. They seemed to be right outside our room, shouting alot and playing loud music in their cars. This went on until 3 or 4am. Although it was other guests, I do think the hotel staff has some responsibility for ensuring a peaceful night for their guests. We were exhausted in the morning.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
There was no cooked breakfast or facilities to eat breakfast but they do provide a one which they deliver to your room and the guy behind reception did direct us to a local cafe.

Rooms were clean and staff were lovely. The breakfast was awful! apparently there wasn't a delivery in the morning so we had some cereal, 1 apple between 3 of us and juice. Pub next door was lovely food and staff excellent. The manager needs to seriously sort out the breakfast or change the bed and breakfast to just bed because its very misleading.

Arrived late, receptionist was extremely helpful and provided me useful information for my travel in the morning.
The room (No. 1) is a little tired and is in need of refurbishment. Unfortunately due to the extremely warm temperature and the room on the ground floor with window near to entrance didnt get the greatest sleep; not totally hotels fault.
The breakfast is pre-selected and to be honest not what you want as it was a minimalist continental.
Bed was comfortable and decent shower pressure
Good location for work, so would stay here again.

Stayed in room number 9 on the ground floor. The quality of the room itself was fine. But the noise from other people's rooms was ridiculous! I don't mean wild parties or anything like that. But you could here people talking in there rooms, opening drawers, sneezing. When they walked on the floor above it sounded like they were coming through the roof.
Made for a not relaxing nights sleep.

No problem too great, no request too small.

This is definitely the mantra at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, from help to dry our shoes after being caught in monsoon season in london (great problem) to assistance with the tea machine and taking a chair outside for a little bit (small request), the staff at this hotel are some of the absolute best and I would more than readily stay here or at any hotel where the service was this exceptional!

The rooms were lovely, quiet and well equiped for our overnight stay, comfortable beds, a large fan in the room and the breakfast delivery to our rooms was a pleasant surprise!

Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoy our overnight stop at Orchid, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I sit here at the moment looking out from my comfy seat outside the hotel, watching the squirrels run around in the trees! Absolute bliss!! 😊

We have stayed here a couple of times. The rooms are ok but could do with being updated. The staff are welcoming and willing to help. Good value for money in the area.
