It's a Premier Inn ... I spend around 60 days a year in various Premier Inns around the UK ... what can I say, all good except the usual ...
(They're so close to being brilliant, but ...)
They always have awful pillows (overstuffed and uncomfortable)
Their rooms are always way too hot (23° when I was there - 2nd floor, shaded room at the rear) with no way of cooling them.
Little thought appears to go into the dinner menu choices - same menu every time, it's just tedious.
Good value for money.
Great booking / check in experience.
Great friendly, efficient service.
Great breakfast.

I stayed there this week for work, I was very impressed staff where friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and the meal deal was well worth the money, although menu was limited the quality of the food was awesome and delicious. Would definitely stay there again

Very run down in places and rooms needing updating badly.
Our stay here was only overnight thank goodness.
Be aware this hotel has no air conditioning and only a desk fan to keep you cool, and window in our room only opened about two inches.
As temperatures rise due to climate change, this made for the poorest nights sleep I've ever had. Truely like sleeping in a sauna.

Stayed here visiting friends who lived only 10 mins from here. Great room, spotlessly clean (I’m a plumber, bathroom was perfect). Good service at the restaurant and the bar had a great selection of whisky’s to round off an evening.
Friendly and helpful staff and great rates.

Arrived around 10pm after travelling with 3 kids. Had to hang around at reception till someone appeared to check us in. Got to the room to find it wasn't made up properly as we were missing an extra bed and a cot as requested on booking. Hotel staff were about to give us linen to make up our own z-bed but instead moved us to another room. Bathroom had mould on the ceiling and room was roasting. Also only had 3 towels for the 5 of us.
Breakfast was ok, fried eggs on buffet were rock hard and the black pudding was like a hockey puck. Probably wouldn't stay in this one again.

Stayed for work, the hotel is a 5 min walk from a retail park so eating out shouldn't be a problem. This hotel does not have a close / attached restaurant / Pub. It does have its own small restaurant.

I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was good. No complaints about the service breakfast staff great and very accommodating.

Breakfast is a buffet style which is a refreshing change as these are not so common.

Room was fine, standard prem and of course pillow heaven when you eventually get to bed. Good sleep no complaints.

I would stay again.

Pleasant, accessible room. Close to reception so not far to walk. Food hot and tasty, although waiting for an hour to get food was a bit excessive (especially when sitting alone with no Internet) but they waived the supplement for steak on the meal deal so I forgave them, mostly 😋
It's not in a very picturesque place but it is close to lots of places. Staff were lovely

Clean. Friendly hospitable staff. "Everything's Premier but the price" rang true for this consumer experience. Good stuff. The manager there maybe Neal but not sure was extremely helpful. Best hotel in the price range and considerably better than some costing considerable more.👍
