I’m 55 years of age and have stayed in many hotels either with work or family over many years. I am absolutely astounded at the condition of this hotel. The stairs on arrival are disgusting as are the rooms. The carpets look 50 years old with many years of grime showing. I appreciate you tend to get what you pay for but my work paid £750 for a weeks stay and on my first night I couldn’t buy a drink, couldn’t order food and needed 3 keys because I literally could not get through the many security doors. I cannot believe I still have to stay for another 5 days and would urge you to think twice before booking. There is a brand new hotel 2 minutes away that I have booked for the following week that was £250 cheaper and had twice the facilities and is immaculate. Do yourselves a favour and steer clear !!!

I stayed at this hotel with another family and their kids and therefore booked two rooms in total. The location of the hotel was perfect which was the only plus point. However, for both of the rooms which we had booked, the bedding was dirty/ripped, there were no blankets provided and had to ask for these which were provided the next day. The soap dispensers were empty, bathrooms/bathtubs were very dirty and carpets also stained quite badly. Did not opt for the breakfast (extra charge required), therefore cannot comment on this. The parking was free and WIFI is available for 30 minutes free only and then it is available at an extra charge. The evening staff were kind and assisting, however the morning staff seemed very uninterested. I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort if you are planning to visit nearby attractions as it is in a very good location. There are also plenty of shops and eating places outside of the hotel at walking distance which is another bonus. Otherwise the hotel itself is mediocre and the rooms need a major and full renovation! Overall, a very disappointing experience!

Location and Service was great. Room was okay. Cracks in the window frame and bathtub was bit of problem. The details from swipe cards were keep getting lost so everytime we had to go to reception to reset it. But staff were nice enough and very helpful. 5* for their staffs and service. Plenty of parking spaces. But so many homeless people were in the parking with their makeshift which is a security concern. Staffs in the bar were great too. Nicely clean the reception and corridor. I would book it again.

Staff don't seem to care. The carpets were worn and stained. The room stank of damp and cigarette smoke. The breakfast was not as advertised. Undercooked bacon, stale bread, frozen croissants. It is only a ten minute walk to the train station, but if you can book at the hotel just a little bit further down the road and closer to the station rather than this one I would recommend it. Good view of suburbia into central London

The people themselves were helpful, but the rooms were moldy. I hope I don't fall sick from the few hours I was there. I had to leave on the same day I got there and moved into another hotel. The manager helped me get into the new hotel and promised me a full refund ( they were shocked about how much i paid). I'll update with progress.

Update: they didn't give me my full refund(30 pounds short), then they charged me 73 pounds on top of it.... for showing up to the health hazard. Check out the pictures of the moldy walls ya'll. They wanted an asthmatic person to stay there?

More updates to come.

Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. Wasn’t expecting much more than a bed to sleep. The manager with a big beard, can’t remember his name (I think it begins with a K) was an absolute gent. Helped me with our bags, the parking and gave use great recommendations for places to have fun whilst we were in Kingston.
Just because of his demeanour and attitude I would most definitely go back. Absolutely brilliant customer service from him!

On the first time, there was a stain in the carpet. My mum described it as a “murder stain.” But the breakfast was lovely, worth the 9 quid.Really nice beds too. Bathrooms were pretty nice as-well

The customer service at this Travelodge, that I experience was disgraceful.
A man called Calvin at receptive was the worst of them all. I stayed for one night
The was a fire door in our room whereby noises of water was coming from
We simply asked if we could move room and Calvin lied saying there is no room without looking at the system and suggested we move hotels.
He was very rude and kept interrupting his colleague who actually wanted to help.
More training needs to be done at this Travelodge to teach staff how to better treat their customers.
I understand that Travelodge is a budget friendly hotel but that does not mean as customer we should be treated disrespectfully.
