Chiswick Lodge Hotel

Friendly staff and good location - right next to the train station. But the carpet was filthy, previous guests' items left in drawers, cigarette butts behind bedside tables.
Bathroom is very small with many broken fixtures. Bed linen looked clean though and bed was comfortable. Very noisy during the night as you could hear people going up and down the stairs all night.

Very dirty. A hotel can be humble but it must be clean. No amount of politeness and helpfulness from the staff can make up for it. The bedding was clean thank goodness, but everything else was visibly filthy. For the same price you can definitely get better hotels in roughly the same are - don't waste your nerves and money on this hotel. You know what it reminded me of? That hotel Tom Hanks stayed in big, on his first night of becoming a grown up.

Called up for the price of a double room as have friends coming. Based on location more than anything. I understand why the reviews are so terrible tbh! Not only did they quote me £189 for two nights which seemed made up; I was on hold for almost 10 minutes.
This didn’t make any sense considering the pictures and reviews. They replied you pay for the view. I walked past as I live up the road. Here is the view attached...

Also the premier in quoted me £89 and this included breakfast, cleanliness and in my opinion not a view but a better view than here.

For £130 a night the service was akin to an airB&B. The noise from the trains is very loud. No continental breakfast. Mo wifi available, and a shower head that seriously needs descaling. Just not for me.

The location is good and bad, it's right next to the underground, so good for someone who wants somewhwre close to an underground (like me), bad if you can't sleep with the noise until the tube stops in the night, nothing earplugs can't solve. The room was comfortable and warm and had what I needed, kettle WC and shower, just very tiring to go up so many stairs with big baggage, but apart from that would stay there again if in the area.

Absolutely terrible. The bedrooms didn’t look like the pictures. I asked for a double bed (we were placed in a triple room which at first I thought was an upgrade) … however the double bed was just 2 single beds pushed together… there was no quilt cover and the radiators didn’t come on once. There was a very thin bed sheet covering the bed. The top cover (red pattern thing) has stains on it. The toilet roll wasn’t refilled before our check in and staff leave premises without giving any information of where to get replacements etc. There was a guest knocking doors at 4 in the morning asking we were the workers. I’ve never had such an unpleasant stay in a hotel accommodation.

Nice hotel. Not posh but very adequate and comfortable.

Service is excellent. Friendly customer service and comfortable and clean rooms, right next to turnham green station so it's perfect for travelling. Park opposite the hotel. No kitchen or food service but Chiswick has so many different restaurants and places to eat or get a takeaway. I highly recommend this place and my friends have stayed here many times.
