Holtwhites Hotel

Nice hotel in a nice area. Was pleasantly surprised they had parking as we thought they didn't. Only a few spaces but we got one and it was free.

They had a really good quality fan in the room which was much needed and helped us sleep.

Offers a flat screen TV but sadly not a remote to control it. However, the hotel is located in a beautiful area and the rooms are good.

Very good hotel, 10/10 customer service. The property throughout is cleaned to the highest standard! Very good value one of the best stays/experiences I have had.

Small room with reduced head height. Double room with bath booked, small uncomfortable bed and no bath provided. Hotel smelt strongly of drugs on evening return. No parking available on site despite advertised. Noisy room with no ventilation or aircon. Hotel didn’t reply to any emails raising concerns

Rooms were crowded,no key for the room,had to get reception to let us in each time(no discount offered due to this).

Pros: clean, comfortable firm bed
Cons: car park full, had to park roadside. The loo was 5cms from wall. There was nowhere to buy water! OK I'll boil water, the sink had 15cms of water, by placing the kettle under the tap, the electrics got wet, so could not use. For £90 I expected so much more!!

Room looks like it hadn’t been cleaned for a month. Dust all over the walls and cobwebs on the ceiling. Dirty lampshade and very ucomfortable bed. Was told there are no other rooms available to swap me to however on checking the website they had 2 rooms available to book for the same night.

Room was clean, tidy and new. Good space too and really nice shower. Towels aplenty, good cupboard space. Elise was very helpful and friendly and they were able to store our bicycles for us too. Parking was good too, no issues. Location is great, lots of restaurants nearby.
