I have been staying here since January and my experience so far has been very satisfying! As a student, I think it is the best place to study and network with others. There are plenty of common&private study spaces and I can use all the spaces including Gym, pool table, play station and common area freely. I can also book a movie place in advance to watch a film even in a small group.

Most fascinating experience is that the maintenance team is always here to help us. Whatever happens or needs fixing, the lovely people come and offer quick help. Also the people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They stay there 24/7 so I always feel safe in this building.

Also, one thing I love about this place is social events that are open to all residents. I didn’t have many friends at first but I got to know a lot of people for the last 2 weeks and they are my good friends now! We go on a night out t and explore London together.

Oh my god It’s never going to end. I have been enjoying so much and I am already looking forward to this Friday night event!

Living in the Stay Club is definitely making my days in London!

+Camden is such an amazing place and I am glad that I chose Camden over the central.

I am an exchange student that has lived in the Stay Club for a few months now. If you plan on studying in London for a longer term or already live in London, DO NOY STAY HERE. It is not conducive or comfortable to stay here longer than a short term visit. The Stay Club markets itself as a residential community, but mostly hosts large student groups and serves as more of a "hotel." The "study lounge" and downstairs lounge are almost always extremely crowded with students groups and therefore cannot be used by residents, so I can not depend on a space to work. In terms of the actual accommodation/space, the kitchenette/bathroom make the space extremely uncomfortable. The first day I moved in, there was a disgusting scent in the room that lasted two months. The bathroom is not spacious whatsoever and shower is uncomfortably tight. Also, the bathroom water filtration is horrible and causes odor/mold issues. The sink in the kitchenette does not drain, so water regularly builds up and smells there too. The worst part is that the staff/reception/maintenance is extremely unresponsive and do not respond to maintenance requests on the portal or verbal maintenance requests. The door of my accommodation now does not lock, presenting a MAJOR security/safety concern, and there is no urgency or support to fix it. Camden is an awesome area and the location is great, but staying here is not worth the money you pay whatsoever. I picked this accommodation because of the location/relate inexpensiveness compared to other university accommodation, but it is extremely expensive for an uncomfortable, unresponsive, and dysfunctional "residential space." A hotel would be much more comfortable.

EXTREMELY NOISY

Do not stay here, there is a ridiculous amount of noise 24/7, even from the top floor of the building. Made several noise complaints and staff says there is security at night to keep the noise down but this does not happen. Loud neighbors, loud construction workers always yelling at each other and playing music on the speakers, people slamming the doors at 4am, it’s almost impossible to go a day without being bothered by noise. Bad facilities and there are no real work spaces for students. It’s made to look “pretty” but once you’re there, you realize everything is super cheap and was made to maximize profits.

Once again, do not recommend, do not stay here unless you want a mental breakdown every single day.

Ridiculously noisy place. I had mental breakdowns every single day for a month due to the noise here. I asked multiple times for a new room which were all unsuccessful attempts until I almost threatened the management that I would publicize my extremely unpleasant experience here. I suffered from noise from middle school boys jumping and stomping upstairs from 7am to well deep into the night. Drunk people are always screaming outside the building, people are always slamming their doors (you can hear everything in the hallways), people yelling at the top of their lungs every time there’s a football match, and generally poor maintenance and management throughout the building. The working areas cannot be used because people are always loud there.

Im on the top floor now and it’s still ridiculously noisy. Made several noise complaints, staff said they will fix it, and nothing seems to get better.

The rooms were also dirty when I got here and I even had a beg bug issue from the dirty used mattresses. Honestly, it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed in - not to exaggerate - genuinely want to save people from suffering here.

I cant get peace. Can’t study, work, or even just simply rest here without being interrupted by another source of noise. Living here honestly ruined my experience in London and any other hotel would’ve been better.

Literally DO NOT STAY HERE! I stayed here for 6 weeks and had bed bug issues, shower mold, inconsistent cleaning, cardboard mattresses, and unhelpful staff. It is constantly crowded and hot in the place because of how small the common spaces are. Their website catfishes you into thinking it is a nice place and it is not. The shower is extremely small.

Nice staff and a very good location but that’s about it!

The lounge is nicely done, but rooms need some TCL and the bathrooms need a proper deep clean! They are mouldy and because rooms don’t have any ventilation the mould creates an unpleasant smell (windows can’t be open fully) so if you are allergic to mould or have asthma it’s not a place for you (my asthma got really bad whilst I was staying there). Luckily I wasn’t staying there for too long and hopefully I’ll be back to normal soon.

A place only which is good to stay short-term. I couldn't live in that place longer than three months. What annoys me most is that they're apparently incapable of repairing the laundry machines, they're like this for 3 months now (see pictures), especially for the price they asked for...really disappointing to be honest. The rooms are fine, except the shower. The concept for the shower is a bit unsophisticated, as the mirror closet can't be opened fully, and the water doesn't flow down..
The location is good, though, and it's pretty safe and quiet, in my opinion.

I really had a great time and loved my studio as it has everything I need, even a few plates, pots, cups, towels, pillows, duvet, bed sheets. The place has a cafe, laundry room, wifi, a small gym. the best thing is the location, super close to UCL, many places to eat nearby and it takes me just a few minutes to get to the beautiful Primrose Hill. At the weekend I can even walk to Hampstead heath. There are lots of great places for brunch!
