Strozzi Palace Suites by Mansley

Great stay, perfect location to base in Cheltenham. Lots of restaurants around within walking distance . Car park 3 Min walk. We had the Siena suite which was nice with a massive bed and out door seating area. Access code given was simple to let ourselves in. Unfortunately some stuff had to be removed from the room due to Covid and no breakfast provided but this was understandable. Great stay .

2nd time we have stayed at the Strozzi. Yes it costs a bit more than the chain hotels, but it feels so special. The rooms are beautifully decorated and it is a lovely oasis of calm. Highly recommend

The front room and bathroom lived up to what you would expect. Not my taste but clearly nice fittings.
Having no access to the patio was a huge disappointment as it had been a selling point of the suite.
The bedding was of good quality and it was clean, however the bed was very worn and the mattress is of urgent need of a renewal. It felt like sleeping in a hammock.
The cleaning of the suite was great considering all those shinny surfaces, though a few spot lights were covered in a thick layer of dust.

I would like to write a quick review on the professionalism shown by this hotel.
I was due to travel from Glasgow to Cheltenham for a conference over the weekend. Hotel looked stunning and was really looking forward to staying there. Unfortunately with the sad passing of The Queen the conference was cancelled. With no other reason to travel 5 and a half hours from home I had to cancel the reservation. Even though I was out with my free cancellation period the hotel were kind enough to waive my costs and issued a full refund. They did not have to do this and I am extremely grateful. I will definitely be re-booking with them when my conference is re-scheduled. 6 stars would apply if it were possible.

Stated here for one night. Great location but next to a pretty rough looking pub. Rooms fine, but a bit stuffy as no windows to open. Has good aircon though. Met manager in the morning, nice guy seemed genuinely interested in feedback. Couple of bottkes of water in toom would be welcome addition. Would stay again.

Room is tired with worn furniture and stained decor. As an apartment it has a kitchen area with, bizarrely, no oven or cooking facilities. So it was completely useless and the breakfast we bought to cook went to waste. On the plus side, it's only minutes from the brewery quarter. Overall disappointing for the cost.

The suite was spacious and clean. The service was amazing. We left our bags for a few extra hours after checkout time.
Had we known about how great a place this was, we would have stayed longer.

Solid location and fantastic apartment with a bedroom, living space and kitchenette.
