Hotel Shepherds Bush London

This is a nice small hotel. The neighbourhood is very diverse and can be a little dirty and very busy. The room that I received was in the basement. It was nice and cool for the Summer. However the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. The staff are extremely friendly and nice. I am not however a huge fan of shepherds bush I would recommend other parts of London for a first time visitors from North America.

It is ok ,,but the price is very high compared to the facility,

No elevator,though ,they helped us to carry the luggages ,small rooms

However the location is very close to Station

When arriving at the hotel we were harassed by a man asking for money- which is typical in this area. What wasn’t typical was that we were followed INTO THE LOBBY by this homeless man who then continued to harass us while the staff member at the desk watched and said nothing. It made us feel very unsafe. Then we got into our room…it was filthy. Dirt all over the floors, the bathroom was filthy, and the bed and sheets had multiple stains on it. We immediately left and spoke to the front desk. They said they understood and that getting a refund wouldn’t be a problem, so we left. It’s now been a month and we haven’t gotten any money back. Don’t stay here!!

I stayed here for one night as I had to be local for work and received the most lovely welcome. I mentioned it was my birthday and the staff went over and above to make staying alone in London on the day a little bit nicer!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and it's right next to the underground, The Bush Theatre and Shepherd's Bush market so really handy!

First room the lock was broken . So we change rooms . Second room lock was ok . But the safe detached and you can easily take it with you if you want . Not safe after all .

Room was very small … the bathroom stinks from the sewers …. And if you leave the door of the bathroom open , the whole room will stink.

In general this is less than a 3 stars hotel .

Unfortunately I wasn’t very happy with my stay here, instead I had to leave the place earlier even tho I had paid for longer stay.
The rooms so tiny and the windows couldn’t open all the way, (you could hear noise from the garage people working and shouting)quite dusty and very basic (not even a coffee option)
The receptionist the day I came in was very awkward and while doing my check in ,two guys came they ordered two beers , so the receptionist stoped precesing the check in told me to sit and served them two guys..
The day I checked out the receptionist not even asked me how was my stay ?! Well here I can share my stay.

Also pricey for what they offer , felt like in a box room..

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location right beside shepherds Bush market underground, hotel directly opposite the market and 5 mins walk to Westfield mall. Plenty of restaurants around.
Clean comfy rooms, very quiet (we took room 03), but quite small rooms.
No parking at hotel.
WiFi very weak...

Amazing stay, I was able to drop my bags early and check as my room was ready, Sofia at reception sorted this and made me very welcome. The room was just as described on the website and very neat and clean. The hotel is right next to the tube station and convenient for getting out and about, but no noise disturbance at night from the tube. The bed was very comfy and more than enough pillows. I was made very welcome throughout my whole stay and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff, I only met Mohsin and Sofia but I’m sure the rest are just as fab. Have already booked again for my next stay in London.
