Afternoon Tea was really good!!! The portion was plentiful, fresh and delicious. The Hall has superb features and the grounds are beautiful, lush and well maintained. The approach road is a single track and a bit 'hairy' for an under confident driver but we managed to pass vehicles, slowly.

Went with friends for afternoon tea which was delicious. My husband is diabetic and I was pleasantly surprised when I was told there was another alternative to the sweet treats. He was actually brought a platter with meats, cheeses and olives, what a lovely and unexpected surprise. Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this lovely place.

We have been twice now for Afterrnoon tea. It's a beautiful location, excellent service. The sandwiches and cakes were to die for, and presented so beautifully on a cakestand.Saltmarshe is a special place and we will certainly go back again!!

One of the best places for a wedding/event around. Utterly fantastic food(chef), and brilliant staff. Quiet atmosphere and excellent afternoon tea makes this a favourite of the family.

Keep an eye out for events such as terrace dining, picnics that the venue hosts, as they are, in my opinion a must visit.

Beautiful stay at the Saltmarshe. We came for one night as a gettaway the day after our wedding, when we told the hotel they couldn’t do enough for us. The room was lovely, good amenities and as we were the only people staying we had a private drawing room to ourselves for dinner, at a reasonable additional price to the room. The grounds and setting made for a very romantic evening and the breakfast the next day was also lovely. Great staff, stunning surroundings. A hidden gem.

Lovely old hall. Renovation work being completed but wasn't in the way or noisy. Food delicious. Service good. Comfortable rooms with big bathroom

Great little old hall in a quiet location! We went for an overnight escape from our little gremlins! The service was great! Ellie was fantastic! She was the receptionist, barkeep, serving staff and night porter due to the time of year, but she never missed a beat and was always there to help!

The little bar was quaint but had a good choice of drinks! The food was fantastic! Our room was clean and cosy though needed a few little running repairs.

Overall we woudl highly recommend Saltnarshe Hall to anyone!!

We will definitely return, if they'll have us!
