Hotel du Vin Cambridge

Absolutely gorgeous hotel right by the Botanic Gardens and the historic area of Cambridge. The staff are wonderfully friendly and upgraded us to the most beautiful suite with an in built cinema room and a freestanding bath. It's a shame we only had one night, I could have lived in there!

The area is quiet, with great rooms and very nice breakfast. Around a 20 minute walk from the station and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest museum. I will certainly come back to this hotel when I am next in Cambridge and definitely for more than one night. A hearty thanks to the staff who made us feel so welcome and at ease, we look forward to seeing you again soon!

We had a lovely one night stay. We were upgraded to a lovely suite which was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. So.. all in all a great place and we would definitely recommend it.
I would say the only negative was no onsite parking

Lovely experience....room was very clean and impressive. Staff were absolutely spot on. They couldnt do enough for us....only ate breakfast at the hotel, which was very enjoyable....well cooked and presented. I'll be back there asap...

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great service, lovely food, very clean, my room had toiletries by L'octtainne, hairdryer, lots of towels, tea/coffee, a safe, air con, also able to open the windows for fresh air, fantastic place would definitely return

Spent a fabulous couple of nights here. Staff were super friendly, our room very comfortable and the food in the bistro was superb. We had some great cocktails in the bar too. Perfect location for getting into the city centre.

Good in parts. Comfortable bed and good shower and bath. But threes were odd noises from the hotel at odd times overnight and could have done with a decent seat in the room for the price. The coffee machine at breakfast was pretty hopeless but the rest of the breakfast good.

Bar review only: went for a few cocktails on a Thursday night. The barman was attentive, and there is a lovely cigar smoking area that we took advantage of. The downside was that we went to the bar to order a bottle of Pol Roger smf they no longer serve it despite displaying it
