Overcliffe Hotel & Bloomers Restaurant

Me and my boyfriend were welcomed with a very friendly owner, room was very clean and tidy. I broke my shoe and owners helped me to fix it and showed me where I could get a new pair. Overall a lovely hotel with lovely staff, definitely recommend to anyone.

I stay here often, and should say that atmosphere in this hotel like at home. Rooms are clean. Owner and staff are always friendly. Restaurant is perfect. Hope, I'll be here again

We only visited to collect our friend for her wedding... her room was clean and lovely and the staff were all extremely nice, polite and welcoming. We had to put wedding ribbons on the car and noticed lots of available parking and a lovely hotel front.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left 3 days later, the service and attention was excellent without being over bearing. All because of a local cab company recommendation. Loved everything from The owner greeting us at the door through the lovely food and more than welcoming room... superb thank you.....

Bedroom carpet was disgusting and covered in stains, walls damp. The staff are extremely rude had to change hotels as it was frankly an abomination. Save the castle do not stay here.

We booked to use the downstairs bar and conservatory for a funeral wake. Thomas and Melissa came through for us, big time! A constant supply of hot drinks, and a really excellent buffet, again regularly replenished.
With their help, we had a very relaxed atmosphere to share our memories of happier times, while celebrating the life of a much loved departed loved one.

Very atmospheric hotel,old british style.Very friendly owner.Restaurant is nice and calm,good food.
Plumbing,ventilation and heating can be upgraded.
