The Baglioni London has been a wonderful experience, from the reservation to after we checked out. I was going to name certain members of the team that stood out, but then I realised that I would need to mention everyone from reservation to the maintenance team. Everyone that I met in the hotel pays attention to details, which make a difference from being there and being a part of the friendly family atmosphere that they have created. Like any hotel property, there were small issues, but the way in which they were handled was excellent. If you need to stay in London I would definitely give this property a try.

Lovely stay at a lovely quiet hotel. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Hyde park is just 10 steps away. A lot of dining options around the area. 25 min walk to Mayfair.

Good:
The location is incredible, the hotel is nice though a little dated. Beds are comfy and rooms very quiet.
Bad: - Breakfast was average and very poorly organised. It took a forever for all guests, and they kept running out of food at the buffet - The room views are nonexistent - We found opened half empty glasses of nuts in the mini bar from previous guests I assume - We booked a rate that stated “free upgrade upon availability”, but then were quoted 300£ to upgrade to a better available room

A nice place to stay, with a few caveats that mean it doesn't quite meet what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel.
Service is great, the staff are friendly and attentive. While the rooms are very large and spacious, they are also very clearly showing wear and tear. There is a clear damage to most areas of the room, and the rooms feel run-down from what they used to be.
The design of the showers (half wall of glass) means that water pressure must be kept low to avoid spraying water across the entire bathroom.
The hotel is also located nicely on the edge of the park, but also a good 10 minute walk from any tube stop.
Finally, the gym is very very tiny and barely usable.

Excellent hotel close to The Hyde Park!
We had so much fun and love the services offered to us. Absolutely love the concept and it's soo much fun to have a walk at the park with some snacks, a book to read, and also some drinks!
The hotel offers the room at quite a pricey rate but the services and the room are just perfect!

A very, very poorly maintained 4-star quality hotel, at best. The place is crumbling, furniture is worn out and frayed, walls are dented, etc.
Very dated and lack of basic maintenance. For example, only one of the wall plugs worked and there were no plugs next to the bed. No plug for the hair dryer in the bathroom.
When I checked in, I asked about a room upgrade (my booking was supposed to come with a free upgrade) and they lied and said they can't because they're full, so I went to the room and it was a category less than what we paid for (and was in really bad condition and smelled of cigarettes), so I went back down and showed them that I can see it's not the correct category (they gaslit me until I showed them the furniture in the photos which made it clear) and that the hotel isn't booked up (plenty of larger rooms available online), and they finally upgraded us, after a long wait.
They didn't do the $100 credit (they're supposed to, via Virtuoso) and the woman said she needed to get it approved and she'd email the bill, but she never did, and I've called a couple of times to get it, but they never send it (I tried calling several times again today even, but nobody answers).

We had a fantastic stay here. From the very beginning the staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Their approach was warm, friendly, and attentive.

Excellent place. I go every time I'm in London. The decor and surroundings just takes you away from the chaos outside. Brilliant service always.
If you need to stay in London I would definitely give this property a try.
