Poor cleanliness, no loo roll or soap in room and the swimming pool was only half full due to a leak so you couldn't swim cos your knees hit the bottom. Had to request removal of the soiled sofa and cushions from the room. Bed was massive and really comfy and AC very good though.

The stay was overall very poor. They had a conference on the first night that meant pretty much the whole of the rest of the hotel was kept awake for hours. It was so bad that we had the whole night refunded.

Most of the standard rooms don't have windows (!!), are tired, leaky, and full of small issues like the mini bar being mostly empty (and not remotely cold), the furniture being worn, the ice bucket being full of room temp water, and so on.

The staff were brilliant in dealing with a LOT of very unhappy people, and were very helpful. The food was also good and the location is great.

I definitely wouldn't stay here again though.

5 stars isn’t enough for this place, I came by myself and stayed in room 152.. I was blown away. The amazing bathtub, huge Victorian windows, outrageously large bed… I couldn’t starfish enough to cover it. The spa was amazing, 1 hours access included in the price. Never felt more relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi, not over crowded either. Lovely, lovely staff! So friendly even as they pass you on the stairs. Absolutely amazing and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the hotel before after our wedding. The room was nice and tidy. The bed mattress was very comfortable so I and my husband could test properly. My main purpose of this review to praise the hotel’s staff. They are great! Especially, huge huge thank to the incredibly friendly and helpful Paula who went above and beyond to meet our wishes and needs. She is a superstar. P.S. my disappointment was with the hotel SPA as I wanted to booked the manicure and pedicure and there was no one to do it. Also, I had never received a call back from the SPA after my enquiry.

The hotel is in an excellent central location and staff were friendly and helpful. Cocktails in the main bar/restaurant and the cocktail bar were lovely. Room was a good size with nice air con, fresh towels daily and nice toiletries. I would stay here again.

The stay was improved by small touches, complimentary gin/sherry in the room, dressing gowns and slippers in the room, towels and gown provided in the spa - in some you have to rent or take the ones from your room - and the room towels were changed daily. All things that some hotels skimp on.

On the downside, the spa is very petite and not the relaxing poolside experience I had been hoping for. The seating/relaxing area was easily taken up by a single guest spreading out and the waterproof cushions looked damp and unappealing once the previous occupant vacated their spot.

The shower in the room had a very shallow - almost flat - tray which looked very elegant but overflowed easily and I had to use towels to mop up the bathroom floor on several occasions during my stay.

Room was lovely large comfy bed. The bathroom was nice however the grout in the shower and the bottom of the shower door were really grimy.
The lady receptionist who checked us in was lovely and polite.
After that it went downhill other staff were very rude, chatting amongst themselves whilst we were kept waiting, breakfast service very poor, waitress had no idea what she was serving. Staff helping themselves to coffee and chatting amongst themselves whilst ourselves and other guests kept waiting. Staff need better training. The breakfast area is a thoroughfare for deliveries, door propped open to the outside so very cold. Loud wedding and nowhere for guests to drink. We were refused drinks on returning after a meal as a wedding event had taken over the hotel. Very abrupt staff. After 20 minutes we were finally shown a cold private bar area we could have a drink. The noise from events and the bottles been dunped into a bottle bank at all early hours of the morning, also delivery trucks parked outside at around 5am each morning. We stayed 3 nights.
On checking out other staff rudely interrupted our receptionist as she was talking to us which made check out very abrupt. We were also unable to let her know the issues we had throughout our stay. The room and location were nice but everything else sadly a letdown.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here in October 2022 and were so well looked after by Vicky and her team. Vicky was incredibly accommodating and so patient with us as we planned it all. On the day the food was delicious, the Sansovino room looked absolutely beautiful and many of our guests commented on how the party had the best atmosphere they'd experienced at a wedding! We really can't thank Bristol Harbour Hotel enough for making the wedding planning experience and day itself an easy and memorable experience. We were also really impressed by the hotel room for our overnight stay, breakfast in the morning and complimentary spa visit the day after. We're looking forward to celebrating our anniversary meal already! Thank you Vicky & team at Bristol Harbour Hotel.

The hotel and spa staff were fantastic and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and well-stocked with refreshments. The hotel is well-located for the city centre, and just a stones-throw away from local bars - in addition to the good selection of cocktails available in the on-site bar.
