What a beautiful IHG hotel.

The gardens are fantastic with some lovely walks and a great pub nearby on the estate.

The decor inside is modern but in keeping with the amazing property.
The rooms are well appointed and a relaxing place to lay your head. Showers clean, hot and powerful.

Fantastic service by all staff from reception check in to the morning breakfast.

I had a great deal staying here at a little over £100 B&B.

Pets are welcome to stay too!! 🐶

The only thing that I felt wasn’t keeping up was the food at dinner. This wasn’t as good as I would have hoped and lacked lustre.

I will return. Soon.

Truly a lovely place. Staff are lovely, rooms are very nice, breakfast is very tasty (may be nicer if the variety of pastries etc could change a little every few days) shower is very nice. Pool is fab! We sat outside with a picnic at one point and it was so brilliant to just admire the grounds! Beautiful!

Was here on a conference. Unfortunately I tested positive for COVID once I was there, so I had to spend the stay in the hotel room. However, the staff was incredibly helpful and delivered all the pre-arranged meals to my room. In particular Spencer from reception was very kind, he went beyond and hung up and put down my poster for me, arranged I could stay in the hotel room a bit longer after normal check-out time so I didn't have to sit outside until the conference ended, and made some small talk, which was highly appreciated as I felt quite socially isolated! There was also a slightly older lady from reception, whose name I didn't catch over the phone, but she was very sympathetic and kind. Heartfelt thanks to these two!

Besides all this, Wotton House is very pretty and well-kept, luxurious and not even that expensive (same price as central London, but you'll actually be staying in a beautiful room!). Overall, Wotton House is very peaceful. I would definitely come back here just to get some rest and feel pampered. Finally, the food is very good! Plenty healthy and vegetarian options (also of course meat, fish and 'cheat-day' stuff).

The hotel is an amazing large old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Great garden. Looks a good venue to have a wedding. Food is good in the restaurant and service is good but can be a bit slow. This is tucked away from the main road.

Hotel itself was great. Needed a refresh in some areas, including the room, but comfortable none the less. Excellent breakfast. Actually went there for the nearby walks, however, styles seen were in a dilapidated state, so decided better to call this off, which was a shame.

A great hotel with nice furnishings, beautiful grounds and excellent service from staff.
Close to Leigh hill and plenty of beautiful country walks and cross country cycling.
Do also check out the Wotton hatch for great cocktails and good honest pub grub.

+ Nice setting stayed one night with our small dog, dog treats nice touch .Staff pleasant.
Especially the chap on reception .
- No breakfast table set for us in bar
(we had a dog ) even though we had booked a time slot staff rushed to set table no condiments and floor not clean from night before .
Room cold no heating apart from oil filled radiator in room , the room was
above pool noise from something like a hand dryer off and on

Beautiful old building set in lovely grounds. Sadly the weather prevented us from exploring them. We stayed in Jasmine suite which was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious, clean and the bed made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely and the bar area was also very good. The main parts of the old building are well maintained.

I feel the pool/spa area was tired looking and could do with a deep clean. Dinner was good value for money in a nice setting but the service was a bit painful (thankfully we weren't in a rush)

I would recommend staying here if you stayed in one of the suites however the corridors to the other rooms were a bit clinical looking and didn't have the country house hotel feel to them.

Overall, a lovely stay and will be back in the summer.
