My partner and I had a fantastic weekend stay in this fabulous hotel! The check-in team were very professional and helpful, they were happy to answer questions and recommended some great places to visit.

Marta was such a star, so friendly and thoughtful, thank you so much for your kind help!

In terms of the room, it was very spacious, had great amenities, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was excellent and varied daily. We also enjoyed dining and drinking red wine at the cozy restaurant ☺️

We will certainly come back!

I had a privilege room. All the amenities that you could need with 2 nice comfortable chairs to relax in. Some black mould to the grout in shower was a disappointment and the Aircon did not really cool the room sufficiently. Breakfast was buffet style and I was surprised at the middle of road quality of sausage on offer. The night porter was very rude when myself and colleagues came back to the hotel and made us feel like children. It was a shame as all other staff were very accommodating.

Ok, not bad, not great.

A bit dated, but perfectly adequate. A few issues on our stay. Whilst we had a large and spacious room it was right by reception so very noisy, only three pillows in the room and there was no ability to pay by card at the bar (temp fault).

On the plus side the bed was comfortable and there was loads of space in our room.

Absolutely loved my stay here, great location close to st Mary's cathedral . Good breakfast, but the coffee is not up to the mark. Only recommendation is to start putting 2 complimentary water bottles on a daily basis on every room. Other than that everything was awesome

Very good, nice rooms. Good location. I would have given a five, but the last day the breakfast buffet was not as it should be. Lots of things were empty and stayed empty. One morning the girl at the entrance misunderstood my room number. She said very loud and unpollite, you have to pay for breakfast, you did not pay so no breakfast you're not on the list. I said I have paid, she did not know what to do, so I asked for the manager. Than it was solved, she did not misunderstood the room number and confirmed we had paid for breakfast. So that is why I don't give a five.

I stayed here for business a number of times quite a few years ago. I remembered the hotel as being of good quality with good facilities.

Unfortunately since then it appears to have been slightly neglected. Although both the room and bed were good, the hotel appears tired throughout. Additionally, the ventilation in the room is awful. I tried to put on the A/C which didn't work and I woke up several times throughout the night as it was too warm.

The gym lacks any weights or decent machines and the breakfast was very poor with a lack of variety.

The hotel clearly needs some investment and a bit of TLC!

Service was immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were amazing. Reception staff went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Room was spacious and had a great view over the water. Close to the city centre everything was a stones throw a way. The pool closed the week before we came which was a little disappointing but didn’t really affect us as there was plenty in the area to do. Thanks to the Holland House team for making our weekend so amazing.

Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Considering we had a privilege room there were a couple of niggles. The remote was stuck together with tape and didn't work so requested batteries from reception. We eventually went to reception after waiting a while for the batteries. Changed the batteries but still couldn't get the TV to turn on. We left it and used our phone instead. The bathroom smelled like urine and wasn't 'privilege' clean. The rest of the facilities in the room were good.
