On the plus side, the accommodation was very central, the bed was comfy, the room & bathroom were clean. On the negative side only saw 1 staff member in our whole 4 day stay & that was the night we checked in. No hairdryer or iron available, 1 tube of body wash & 2 tubes of conditioner were all the toiletries we were left, no housekeeping for the first 3 days we were there. Common kitchen with little or no glasses or cups, no bath mat in the bathroom, the bedroom was tiny with just a kid size wardrobe & 1 swivel chair. The stairs were very steep. The noise level outside at night was incredible! We are a couple in our mid to late 60's & if we had know what this accommodation was like beforehand we never would booked it.

This was exactly what we needed. The rooms were clean, well accommodated, and just the right size. The staff that we met (Alibeth and Tommy) went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and enjoy our stay.

Decent value for money. The place mentions that there is breakfast but it doesn’t mention that it is a self-service and self-make one. The room has the bed next to the door, giving a bit of a unsafe feeling.

Although the room was clean and comfortable it has to be the noisiest accommodation that I've ever stayed in. THere are nightclubs and pubs right below where we were staying and kept us awake until 3am. No double-glazing so it felt like they were even closer. Receptionist never around to discuss this with. Most disappointed.

Nice room but too many stairs or would have been a five.(I realise there is nothing the owners can do about this but when advertising it could be mentioned so older customers are aware of the problem)

The facilities and services presented on the Addison House website are a major misrepresentation and of a completely unacceptable nature. I could write an epistle on the issues at this 'hotel' but from the poor quality beds and bedding to the open loaf of day old bread offered as breakfast there was no redeeming feature.

Nice, cozy hotel although in the center of town so it can be loud due to street noise. Good value.

Nice room. Nice street view. Would really suit couples. Right in the centre of town, lots to do and places to go and eat. Avoid if you have children or want a quiet night's sleep.
