Service during COVID was absolutely dire for a hotel - ended up with a lot of incorrect changes to my room and took weeks to fix.

I arrived to be greeted warmly and with a smile. There was a small issue regarding the payment due to it being a business trip but easily solved. The receptionist was new and dealt with me professionally as though she had been in the role for some time. Later on in the week the same receptionist sorted a small issue for me without fuss and is a credit to the company.
All the staff were attentive while I stayed as it was clear I was on my own, they all ensured I had everything I needed without being intrusive.
The room was lovely and clean and was a great base for my business trip. The bed was extremely comfortable too!
The food was good, although limited but likely due to Covid but enough that you won’t go hungry. Breakfast was great too with lots of choice.

Staff are always on hand and ready to help you. You feel like nothing to much to ask and always welcomed with a warm and friendly smile. Room 8 was so clear and nice touch from the cleaning staff. You know your in a great place when staff take pride in there hotel and you wipe over the remote to find this totally spotless. I want the staff to now they really make a stay worth while when the care so much. Thank you all for doing your jobs so well and making our stay a pleasurable one we are back again same room hopefully as we rebooked Monday for the same room. We hope head office lets you all know what a good job you all do and that you all are valued. We know it's been hard due to Covid so thank you for all the extra hard work you have done to keep this hotel open and running with all the new guidelines.

Had a one night stay while up to see family friends. Greeted by very friendly and helpful reception staff. He even chased us down the corridor to make sure we had put the car reg in for the car park so we don’t get fined.
Needed some more towels in the room and within 5 minutes of letting reception know there was a knock at the door and more towels.
Can’t fault the dedication and commitment of the reception staff.
Beds were comfortable and the hotel was nice and quiet. Bathroom was clean and tidy with a lovely powerful shower. Breakfast was nice, good selection and all cooked freshly.

Having stayed at a number of independent small hotels, you always run the risk of room quality and service. With Holiday Inn you always know the rooms will be clean and comfortable and decent food available.
We enjoyed our stay and found the bed particularly comfortable, enabling a good nights sleep.
The room had air conditioning which was great, if slightly noisy.
No complaints, you know what you will get with Holiday Inn, so always a safe choice.

This is the first time in several years I had stayed at a Holiday Inn and just the strength of the WIFI which was free impressed me. I own a business and need this for work and so surprised it was 10 times stronger than other hotels, which you had to pay for it.
The Breakfast was a buffet and the quality was exceptional and the choice spot on. Again in other hotels this was not the case and albeit you paid for the food the choice of what you ate and how much was entirely up to yourself.
The staff were invisible but there when you needed them as if by magic and nothing was any trouble to them.
Will I stay again? Of course.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel fir a weekend leisure trip to Silverstone , the staff were excellent but there did appear to be a shortage of staff.
We had breakfast on the first day but apparently the chef was late and a member of staff stood in and started the breakfast.
The food was too salty and we had to leave it, the following days food was much better and couldn’t find fault with it.
The hotel was in a great location and I would definitely stay here again.

Big room 2 double beds. Comfy beds with choice of pillows. Duvet a bit heavy. Windows opened a little and aircon in rooms. Had a room on the side so not too much road noise. Able to walk out if hotel and walk along the river nene for miles.
The walk in shower was great very powerful.
Tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer supplied.
