Carlton Hotel

I really enjoyed staying here. Family funeral and felt relaxed and at ease. Loved the decor in the room in this, as they describe it, straightforward and no fuss hotel. Plenty of condiments, microwave, everything I needed was there. Would definitely choose this hotel again

Okay for one night, small room which was clean. Breakfast in a bag, ok if you like chocolate, which I don't. Carpark is small, when I arrived at five thirty, all spaces taken but did manage to park on road. Close to town center.

The people were very welcoming and friendly and they provided breakfast. Although there were no gluten free options.

The room was ok nice how u get coffee and tea. The bedding had some marks on and the floor was abit sticky. Shared bathroom although we were told it wasn't but that was ok just the shower wasn't very clean think it was stained though so that can't be helped.

Overall it was a nice calm quiet hotel but in my opinion overpriced for what u get.

This was all you could ask for. Clean and tidy with in room facilities. Even the breakfast in a bag was sufficient and a very clever idea. Good value for money and close to the main town area.

Really clean and tidy, the rooms have everything you need and are fairly modern. My only negative comment is that the bed was too soft, which is my preference.

Clean room TV bed tea and coffee and kettle in room. Good place to use as base

Was a warm and comfortable stay friendly and helpful staff/manager.
Clean tidy needs slight tlc in showroom. Breakfast bag nice touch. Would definitely book again if back in Ipswich.
