Cannot fault the hotel at all, staff were friendly and approachable. Room was clean and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, and we also ate tea there which was delicious and again the staff were fantastic. We have two small children who are not always understanding on wait times and the staff were great, they had colouring in and games for the children.

The hotel is in a fantastic position with rooms overlooking the race course. The staff we had dealings with where friendly and helpful. The staff in the restaurant where amazing. They told us of a great deal of 2/3 courses that where part of the Sunday Lunch menu - explaining that if we ate before 6 we could take part in that deal. (This was when booking a table for Dinner at 4) The food was amazing too!

From the moment we entered the Holiday Inn Wolverhampton Race course, we were made to feel very special indeed. We booked a family room for myself and 3 children. A very friendly and professional Meg on reception checked us in. She gave us all the information we needed to know about the hotel. Great first impression. We visited Wolverhampton to go to watch a Wolves match and when we returned to the hotel, Meg was just finishing her shift. She remembered us and asked how the match was. She was also interested to hear the stories of my children meeting some of the Wolves players and took the time to look at some photos. We also had the privilege of meeting Jackie, Mia, Majka and a gentleman who was working overnight (we didn’t get his name - but he had long brown hair tied up). Jackie and her team provided us with some much needed refreshments and went the extra mile o make sure the children and I were looked after. The room was super clean, modern and all ready for us on arrival. Beds were super comfy and a good nights sleep was had by all. In the morning we headed down for a lovely breakfast. Lots of choice on the self serve buffet available: e.g Full English, Fruits, Cereal etc. The morning breakfast staff and the receptionist were just as friendly and professional as the day before. It seems there is a real sense of belonging for staff members in this hotel, and that they are all proud to work here. We for sure will be returning in the future and hope to see the friendly staff once again.

The recipe for any good customer experience isn't complicated. You give great service each and every time, and I can honestly say that each and every time I've stayed at HI Wolverhampton Racecourse they have never failed to impress. The whole team are exceptional and I'm sure Jackie won't mind me saying that she provides one of the highlights in the restaurant by fussing over us guests like a mother hen. She's so determined that we have a great experience and she does so with exceptional character. I'd also like to mention Alex the Chef who without a doubt makes the best Caesar Salad I've had in any HI, or for that fact even a Crowne Plaza.

The Manager of this hotel should be very proud of their team

The welcome was very good with staff being friendly and polite. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The bathroom needs a few things doing as there was some mould on the ceiling and shower leaked despite using curtain. Visit was not spoilt by these small things.

Always enjoy this Holiday Inn when we go to the races here. Once again a lovely stay very friendly reception staff and a lovely breakfast. Thank you Rose for tracing and returning the item I inadvertantly left in the room.

We had a very comfortable stay. Don’t be put off by the outside look, nor the public areas which are a bit tired. The room is comfortable and the welcome was warm.

For a budget hotel it offers a lot ... excellent position literally in the racecourse so plenty of green open space around you. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms serviced daily ...breakfast is plentiful and varied.
