Woodborough Hall

Went to Woodborough Hall for the first time in a long while, under new management, only been open for a couple of weeks, a lot of changes have been made, new reception, bar, restaurants and orangery. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was excellent ( brilliant new chef) Lovely place for a wedding or a party or just for a family get together. Nice to have another great place to eat out... we'll definitely be going back. 👍

So lovely to see this beautiful building being brought back to life again. In the few months it’s been under new management they’ve already transformed a lot of the tired decor . Love the choices of places to eat & drink from the cosy snug to the stunning orangery and the dining areas upstairs and down.
Just popped in for a coffee and cake on this occasion, both delicious and such friendly staff. Suggested having a dog friendly area as it would make an ideal stop during a walk around the village but there is a lovely outside patio area they can go when the weather permits. Sincerely hope people give them the support they need to make this a wonderful venue on our doorstep

New owners have done such a good job breathing some life into the neglected property. Superb bar, bright and comfortable Orangery and a very warm welcome. Foods pretty good too.

Visited today with family for a festive afternoon tea. The new team have really smartened the hall up and all staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Attended a launch evening recently as hall under new management. The refurbishment of the building was fabulous and the evening superb. The new owners could not have been more welcoming and certainly appear focused on delivering an excellent product. Would highly recommend.

We were very excited to try here since we heard it was under new ownership and were not at all disappointed. From start to finish the process of booking was simple, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We tried the festive menu and were very pleased with all aspects. We are already recommending you to family and friends and would definitely book again in the future for events or afternoon teas (I think my mum would love here for Mother’s Day!)

Went to the 2023 New Year ball at Woodborough Hall. The listed hall looked fantastic following the new owners refurbishment project which now provided a great venue for celebrations. Food, music and service were all excellent. Fireworks welcomed in 2023 with more dancing to follow. Magician was brilliant and is booked to do a whole evening in February.

Had a great evening , yesterday, with great company. The food was first class and very well presented. Staff at this newly furnished location and under new management was excellent. Can’t wait to return in January to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
