Wellesley Park Hotel

Loved the stay. Excellent owners who are very keen to please and make your stay comfortable. Wellesley Park Hotel is within walking distance to the beach. It is very clean, quiet and friendly. I would recommend Wellesley Park Hotel to all my family and friends without hesitation.

We stayed at Wellesley Park hotel for our 10 year anniversary celebration as the hotel is fairly close to everything with free kerbside parking out front, we were lucky enough to park our car right outside the hotel. The only qualms we had were sadly due to other guests one guest in the room next door to ours as they were an extremely loud snorer which vibrated through the walls and actually rattled my throat making me feel sick I couldn’t sleep well. We hoped that this guest would only be there the Saturday night however found out at 11pm on Sunday they were there again that night too. We also had another guest in the room above us that seemed to pace around the room for an hour at midnight making the floor creak a lot, so sadly both myself and partner didn’t sleep very well here. Safe to say the walls and floors are very thin! The room itself is absolutely fine and spotlessly clean! So for the price it’s great. We did struggle with checking out on Monday morning as we rang and rang the hostesses doorbell to no answer, decided to take our bags out to the car after 10 minutes of trying and found her outside with someone smoking so perhaps could’ve done with a sign on her door downstairs saying she’s outside?

A nice warm welcome and lovely clean room. The bathroom however is on the small size and my husband is quite a big man so he struggled with the shower basin and toilet, they literally wasn't any room to move about, but for a two night stay it wasn't a big problem. We was slightly disappointed to be told that they was no alcohol allowed in our room, we felt a bit intimated as we like to wind down with a glass of wine. We understand the proprietors don't accept stags and hens, but we are a married couple over the age of 60, and we shouldn't all be daubed with the same brush. The house rules also states a quiet time between certain times so thank you to the family in the room above room 22 for all the noise of walking up and down and banging about. The no drinking and the noise upstairs kind of spoilt our lovely weekend we had in great Yarmouth. Would recommend the hotel if rules were slightly different 😉

I enjoyed my stay here very much. My room was adequate for myself and my dog and it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a double. The room was cleaned every day and the beverage choice was replenished daily too.
Nothing was too much trouble and were very helpful with everything. I would definitely book there again.

Hotel was perfect for a few days that we stayed. There was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, bottled water and a selection of biscuits. Rooms were clean and comfortable. 5 minute walk to the sea front and 10 minute walk to the town. Ana was very friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. She advised us of the area and were to have breakfasts
We were a family group and had a family room, twin room and a single. We will stay again and recommend to anyone to stay.

We got there and couldn't find a free parking space, the lovely lady who owns the hotel went far and beyond to find us one close by, also help with our bags to the room, very friendly and welcoming, will definitely visit again. Thankyou Wellesley Park Hotel.. 😀👍
